I'm at the end of mass effect and have done all side quests but im still lvl 58 this is my 2nd playthrough and i really want to hit lvl 60 without starting another playthrough, i still havent gone to Ilos but im wondering if there's anyway to boost/farm enough exp so that i can be able to have a lvl 60 character by the end of the game.Image IPB

How many missions do you have left? How much experience do you need to get to level 59? If you have already completed Virmire and still need a lot exp to hit level 59 then most likely you won't be able to get to level 60. The gap between level 59 and 60 is huge so I don't think it will be possible.

Try to milk enemy spawns during the finale. If you stay back in certain areas, enemies will keep spawning for quite a while, which can help.

If that doesn't cut it there's always console commands.

Yep, if you reach the Citadel and still not 60, give yourself some xp with the console. I needed 3 playthroughs when I first played ME, long ago. One to unlock Hardcore, one to unlock Insanity and only on the 3rd one I reached 60... uff... was 59 when started it though.

It's gonna be real tight as FJVP said, if you have XP bonus achievements, but you might be stuck with 59.

But you can try anyway, so before Ilos, go after Thresher Maws and do all of the Collection assignments you can.

And fight everything on foot. Don't kill enemies with the Mako.

They do not respawn.

And I forgot to ask, do you have the two DLC? That could also help you get as much XP as you can.

I think exp from them is only earned the first time you successfully complete them.

And I just remembered, there is an actual experience guide on the wiki. :pinched:
I completely forgot about it, so I'm glad I remembered.

I have a question. Does killing foes give you exp in ME2? For some reason I thought you would just get the XP at the end of a mission but does the amount of foes killed increase or decrease the XP you recieve?

This is correct.  When you are outside the citadel, the long hallways will spawn Geth Destroyers every 10 seconds or so forever as long as you don't move past the halfway part or so.  You can get as much XP as you want.

I do not think it is forever. I have had them stop eventually.

I've had them come for half an hour or so before I get bored and move on. If you have LIFT, it's fun to just launch them while they're charging right at you.
