Odd I played on PC and ME2 looks pretty nice even now with great textures and all. =]

I think Arkham City spoiled me.  It uses the same base engine as ME2, but looks a million times better.

Very big exaggeration.

Actually, you can.

It'll happen some day, trust me.

ETA: If anything, it seems that if you want something really badly is if you don't get to see very much of it or something to that extent. I'll figure it out. SOME DAY.

Arkham City is running on the DX11-enhanced version of the Unreal Engine.  Also, the character art is about four times the resolution of ME2's.  Other than that, it's about the same.

What do you want?  Shepard on the Normandy staring at his fish tank?

HELL NO.
That's not emotional at all.

I want Shepard, on his KNEES, against the fish tank, MOURNING, for the sight of dozens of fish cadavers, getting up, and promising REVENGE from Kelly.

I will avenge you, oh brave fish!
You fought valiantly, and it is time to rest!
And I will not rest, for eternity and more,
if I don't have Kelly die from the very
unheroic death she had set for you.

Damn you, Chambers, DAAAAAAAMN YOUUUUU.

Lol nice ;)

That has nothing to do with it.  Crysis was released almost 5 years ago, yet it looks better than the vast majority of recently released titles.

Bioware games are notorious for bad textures.  DAO and ME2 stand out the most in recent history.  ME2 didn't even have a texture quality setting in the game for God's sake.

DA2 was a step in the right direction though.  I hope ME3 has a high rez texture pack for the PC, otherwise we can expect mediocre textures which will ruin the excellent artistry.

Yeah, but Crysis was a piece of sh*t when it came to the story and the characters, which I'll take over graphics any day, every day.

Not to mention Crysis had a bunch of tech issues.

Lens flare from Mass Effect is why the Star Trek (2009) remake resonated so well with me. Abrams loves his lens flare.

I remember the mountain flares :pinched: TheMakoMaster's avatar gives me a headache if I look at it for too long.

Also, admirable attempt at difficult onomatopoeia.

It's an exaggeration of course, but Arkham City DX11 maxed settings definitely does look significantly better than ME2.

For a pure FPS title, there was nothing wrong with the story or the characters in Crysis.  Crysis at that time was a revolutionary FPS, and not just in terms of graphics, but gameplay as well.

The sandbox setting and the nanosuit gave you a multitude of different ways for achieving your objectives and utilizing different play styles.

Was it just rumor, or are their pics/screenshots of the interior of the Alliance Normandy?

We saw some of it in the GTTV episode. Not a lot, but enough to confirm that it is a lot darker than in ME2.

I'm just glad none of the screenshots are too spoilerific. It was horrible in ME2's marketing, and I'm glad they've changed that. Ashley in combat would be nice, as well as more Kaiden. I miss the VS. :(

That white geth looks like it's a new type of enemy.

It has some weird flaps on its head, some odd shoulder pads and it looks like it's using a laser sight.

I would like to see the interior of the Normandy too, although its probably too much to ask for, however. Even if they just showed us already established rooms, like the CIC, etc, not the new rooms, I'd be happy.
