Watch out, pretty soon they'll institute a feature where you buy DLC automatically like Xbox Live renewals with no opt out save for deleting your debit card number.

actually xbox does have opt out for renewal  you have to call them. and tell them shut down the auto renewal ..  i had problem with there auto renewal feature will never use it again

Companies don't make a game, and then take things out to sell later. They make the game, and then make things specifically to sell later.

I remember I tried to cancel it online, and it was always "an error occured while cancelling auto renewel" lol.  Called them and sat on hold, finally did the call back thing.

yeah they even state to call them there is no real way to cancel it online, so you need to call them period, which i find funny why they want you to call them i guess so they get the actual person on the account and not some kid screwing around or something,

Welcome to modern gaming, where companies rob the masses who are too stupid to realise what's happening.

Sounds about right.

You make today's content during development, but you leave it to the side when you could and used to put it on the disk, and now just call it bonus on the day you release the rest of the game.

So.... if the DLC is $271, that means the figurines are what? Free?

Or.... is it the other way around?

So if it's only available on pc or xbox it's probably along the lines of alt appearance pack ie. far from life threatening if you don't have it.

If it's extra mp characters, bugger that. Didn't fork out for that kind of crap in any other games, don't intend to in future.

Have to? no. I don't want those toys (that's what they are, people. they are toys.) I am missing items from past BioWare games and I don't mind that. Again, though, people: They are toys. And it's randomized. you could get weapons or characters. at the end of the day, what I am getting (Collectors Edition from GameStop, Pre-ordered, plus the KoA demo stuff and if there is anything special in ME3 for playing that demo) is more than enough for me. You don't have to spend $271 to get it all. Did you see the number of weapons in the game?! That will be enough for me. honestly. I can understand wanting everything but complaining about superfluous extra content that will in all likely simply gather dust. It could be new characters but I say so what, I mean will that be a random NPC that you interact with? another new temporary squad member? It could be a background crew member on the Normandy for all we know. I don't care, because I know I won't be shelling out for toys.

Well knowing EA they will open up 3 worlds for the coop and sell them for $15.99.
I just hope I get to use my remaining BW points, cause I don't buy map packs.

It can't be the other way around. Because then there would be nothing to get hysterical about.

Which is to say yes, of course it is the other way around. This whole thing is silly.

But the figurines are $18, not the DLC. The DLC will come out at a later date probably....

Or am I missing something...?

Looking at the picture of the Miranda figurine, I find it difficult to believe that any sane person could actually want that.  Actually, I'd expect the price to be reduced because your DLC unfortunately comes with a horrible piece of junk included.

The content might be available online later, or it might not. We don't have any solid info yet.

I could see EA selling it in a DLC bundle, couldn't see myself paying more than 400 points for the whole kit and kaboodle though.

Only available in North America? So I can't even get it in Sweden even if I wanted to? =\\ This DLC had better not be exclusive. Stick it on XBL and don't be scared of letting me give you my money, BioWare and EA.

Yeah, please, listen there. I wanna give you my money. Please let me >_<

Nothing about this gives any indication that there will be any DLC that will not be made available to you. This is a silly marketing ploy that should mean nothing to anyone.

I mean, for the price of 270 dollars...Collector's Edition of Skyrim costs 150 euros where I live and usually price differences between dollars and euros are about equal (I think). So yeah :/

I'd wager the NA exclusivity is due to Big Fish only having the rights for the NA market just like NECA only gets NA rights for many of their licenses.

In the description of the four pack, it specifically says that the DLC is for multi-player.

Well, I mean, I freely admit, I bought that bottle of Dr. Pepper because it promised sweet DLC goodness inside.... but... I still drank the Dr. Pepper....

Just wondering if I'm the strange one here.

And I unlocked all three Dr. Pepper codes without ever having to puchase anything, because contest law requires a no-purchase needed option.
