It's just a game, so of course not.

It's better than taking time off and all you have to entertain you is horrible daytime tv!

Then turn off the tv.

Good weather is not guranteed where I live, so sometimes there is no choice.

I'm usually home at 6pm which is about the time the US game unlocks are happening for us here, so I won't need to.

Meh - I have work - or I have game.

Quite frankly work sucks and I give it about 60 years of my life - so I'd rather do what I want for a day or two and play the game.

Some people work to live - others live to work.

It's not that I prefer to work (far from that). The thought of taking the day off never occured to me, sounds a bit exagerated to me and is above all absolutely pointless for me since I probably get the game delivered only in the late afternoon/early evening.

Ahh - see Iit comes on a Thursday here. I took a day off to play ME2 and I took a day off to play ME1 as well.

So I'll definitely be heading down when the doors open, grabbing my copy and my impulse collectors edition game guide that I can curse at for being wrong, stroll home and spend the rest of the day in bliss. I may even drag myself to the freezer and over and steam some asian banquet packs.

Then at various stages after a few hours in - jump on the forums too see how other quests / choices have panned and out and bask in the glory of my most anticipated game release since Tiberian Sun.

Learned my lesson with last years d.a.2 fiasco. So i'll just wait until its been out awhile as well as look at a few reliable reviews before deciding if i should even bother to finish shepards adventure.

Well unless I get the job I've applied for I won't have any restrictions to playing the game as I see fit and if I do screw it its an awesome job

Spring Break on campus and [so far] haven't received any contracts for that week, so it looks rather free so far. Will probably have to go in for some lab work on campus still, but will probably knock that out on that Monday.

Nah, I have stuff to do in my life. The game is coming out on a friday anyway, so I have the whole weekend to play it.

Trying to find out whether there is a midnight launch or not and/or if I can get the day off.

If there is, get the game at midnight, install DLC, play until 7am. Get something to eat if I haven't already, shower, get dressed, go to work for 8am. Come home at 3-4pm, nap for a few hours, back to the game.

No midnight launch? Get the game on a lunch break or IMMEDIATELY after work. Go home, install DLC, use the bathroom, launch the game.

Not working, no midnight launch? Show up at EB Games 20 minutes before the store opens, get the game, go home and launch it.

I run a small family business and I will have the 6th and 7th off from work.  I cannot afford to be out of work more than that.

I'm hoping the GameStop I ordered it from will have a midnight release party so I can go ahead and get installed before I go to bed Monday night, but I was told they usually do not hear if they are gonna have one until like 2 weeks before release.

I will be the first one in line March 6th even if I have to arrive an hour or so early.  I know the manager, so maybe he'll let me wait inside where it warm even if he has to wait till 10am to give me my copy (which is paid in full).

Two weeks vacation, had time to burn for "sometime in the spring", so took two weeks starting monday the 12th (in Europe, so release is the 9th anyway, and already had the weekend off).

Took one week for ME2 as well as DA2 (yeah, yeah, shut it :P)

Nah, I work till noon and by then I'll still be on college holidays, so I'll be having plenty of free time in the afternoon. Plus, I don't really see the point in finishing it in 3 days. I'd rather go a bit slower than that.

Actually, a took a work for the period and did some overtime in my schedule, so I have that month covered. Planning a head, always works.
