Besides, I live in Europe. ME3 will release on March 9 over here. That's a friday. I only have to college in the morning on that day. I'll be free to play ME3 the entire afternoon, evening and night when I return from college.

People talking about taking a whole week vacation, WOW.
Why not? Last time I checked I got three months of vacations since previous years, plus about 20 days for overwork... Or whatever you name it.

If I take a weeks vacation I'm going to be on a cruise ship, on a beach, or swimming in clear blue water somewhere lol.
Cruise ship? Move from crowded place to another? What for? If somewhere is worth going, than it better be some remote and reclusive location, where two is a crowd.
Have nothing against swimming, though.

Well, should we had an open season those days, certainly ME3 had to wait it's turn. But in giving circumstances...
Just kidding. Somewhere above.

I'm not gonna knock folks for how they want to spend THEIR TIME OFF. To each their own and to whatever makes people happy.

Well, for me it's pretty much a matter of getting 7 weeks paid vacation per year, but not paid well enough to travel for all 7, so since I'd have to eventually burn some of these days on a "not doing anything, just vegetating on the couch" type of vacation, why not schedule it for around when I have something to keep me in said couch. My company really, really frowns on people asking to have vacation days paid out, to the point of anything more than a week left at the end of the holiday year is "use it or lose it". So I'd rather use it.

I'm asking for and should have that Tuesday off. I will be going to the midnight release and staying up to play it. Games and my birthday are pretty much the only reasons I'll take a day off. Does that sound pathetic, yeah. But I accepted that I am not a very social person outside of my work and it makes me happy, which is all that matters.

Its not pathetic! You should be proud of what makes you happy!
I'm not that social at all and I enjoy every minute taking time to play these games. =D
