Exactly, once the reapers show up winning a pissing match with the turians is not going to be very important it is better that we work with everybody to somehow find a way to beat the reapers

Good thing you blew up the Collector base.

It is a good thing I blew it up because TIM would screw it up and it could end up back in reaper control anyway.  Now the reapers will have to find a new way to make baby reapers.

I think at this point the reapers don't care about baby reapers. They just want to wipe us all out to secure their dominance once and again. After that, they'll have 50.000 years the time to turn us into their new Collector puppets and let us build a new Collector base.

Probably the same, just faster.

Great.. I didn't even know this. Thanks for making my job harder TIM. Thanks a lot. Thank god I had the common sense, and foresight to glass that base when I did. I would have seriously ****ed myself up the ass if I didn't.

yea they salvaged the tech and they built bases beyond the omega 4 relay and used reaper tech to gain control over omega.

I honestly think researching reaper indoctrination is a good idea. Generally. But Cerberus have the bad habit of pushing limits and crossing lines to not only get results but get them faster. Yeah, the Reaper menace is a good excuse but doesn't change the fact that if you're pushing too hard you may tip the risk/gain balance in your disfavor. Meaning, you are going to break what you were trying to fix.

1.) Why do you care if TIM screws up and gets his peopled killed

2.) Why would the Reapers even want to recapture the base?

3.) Why are you more afraid of TIM screwing up than you are of the Reapers?

Remember, you are going to war with the Reapers for your very survival as well as well as the survival of all sentient life present now and that will ever arise in teh future, and you are doing it unprepared and with no idea how you can possibly win. The Collector base at least offered you a place to start by giving you something to research that might lead to a better understanding of the enemy. You blew it up. Now you have nothing.

All you can do is hope for fate to swoop in and save you. That's stupid. It's the kind of stupidity that only works out in fiction- oh wait. You got me!

Because if you are smart then you not only care about the war but also about what happens after the war. Unless you want to witness how after the war you have the same situation as before the war. Which would suck. It's like with most epilogues in RPGs. As you may notice in games like DA:O or FONV it is not only imporant which side you choose and whether you win or lose, but also if you have made preperations for after the war. I think it is especially well done in FONV.

Yes I know. It's a technicality, a legal loop-hole. All the justification someone like you needs.

Well I didn't mean to use it. But researching it can as well yield counter measures. So you can actually protect yourself from reaper indoctrination. Studying your enemy is important if you want to win the war.

Read what Alex actually said before you post crap like this.

Alex said RESEARCHING indoctrination is a good idea, he didn't say USING indoctrination is a good idea.

I agree with Alex. We need to research reaper indoctrination, so we can develop a couter-measure against it. Luckily, TIM also realized this and is already way ahead of us when it comes to researching the reaper indoctrination.

TIM does good work.

More like I don't trust TIM not to get himself and his people indoctrinated and then it would fall back in reaper hands anyway and harbinger would be singing and dancing in the galactic core because he got his toy back.

At this point you should be concerned that there may not be an aftermath if you don't play your cards right.

Thats Illium. Which happens to be in the Terminus systems. Slavery is illegal in Asari space.

No, you are equating Ilium with a real asari world.  Ilium is more like Omega with expensive shoes as Vasir puts it and I am not justifying the practice of slavery on Ilium it is just ridculous to say the Asari as a whole practice slavery because you see it on Ilium which is not under the jurisdiction of the Asari Republics.

If I thought at any point that giving the CB to Cerberus is our only chance to win the war then I would give it to them.

It's an asari dominated world set-up by the asari specifically to elude restrictive Council laws.

Once again the Paragon crowd sickens me with their moral hypocrisy.

The fact is you don't know, but you blew it up anyway.

You had on thread to follow that might lead to something or might lead to nothing. Instead you burnt the thread.

It was a pig-headed thing to do.

I thought slavery is legal on Illium because it is considered Asari territory. Funny that Samara is there and no dead slavers turn up. Well on the other side my Shep is there and no dead slavers turn up either, which is strange.

Vido Santiago was using the refinery workers as slave labor and Vido Santiago is human so I guess that means all humans practice slavery is that correct Saphra?   because according to your logic that would be the case.

How do you figure that? Very clearly the company in charge of that factory was not happy about it. Remember when they paid Zaeed Massani to liberate the factory from the Blue Suns?
