Funny, I was thinking the same thing about you.

How cute, I'm surprised you didn't simply post "NO U!"

Is this immature behaviour really what your debating skills come down to?

Your'e not answering hte question - yoiu are dodging it. But I'll make it more edetailed, since you obviously do not get it...

How can you come to the quarians and ask them to make piece with the Geth?
How can you ask Krogans to work with Turians and Salarians?

How can you demend for every other faction to burrs their hatchets anmd get over their trust issues and hatered - when you yourself utterly refuse to do the same? Shouldn't Shepard lead by example?

Oh, and if your answer is "but they are Cerberus", then I'll coutner with:
Krogan/Quarian: "but they are Salarian/Turian/Geth"

Here's the thing. I gave Cerberus several chances to do something good in ME2, and they pissed it way. Especially with the whole "Cerberus is humanity" crap. It's obvious that they only care about themselves, so why the hell should I care about them, let alone waste time and resources on them?

Also, if you think that I have the same standard opinion of everyone in the galaxy just for the sake of giving them a fair chance, I can just tell you that I don't do it like that, since every faction has their own problem that varies in consequences and rewards. Like the krogan and salarians. Wost case scenario is that they remain in their current state and the salarians are just as uncooperative. With the quarians and the geth, the worst case scenario there is another war.

For one he's talking about the aftermath. Secondly, nothing about human dominance implies that humanity can't work with the other species.

Everybody keeps things from Shepard if he doesn't need to know them. Sooner or later you'll need to come to terms with that.

Because timmyboy has no intention of working peacefully with the other species.

Not an answer.
What if a Quarioan admiral goes : "Geth have no intention of working peacefully with us." And any thing you bring forth is dismissed as lies.

Krogan have no intention of working peacefully with the Salarians.
I dont' need proof, I KNOW. The magical unicorn told me.

You got no argument (then again you never did)
Everytihng you have rests soley on your hatered and irrational mistrust of Cerberus, hypocrisy and double standards.

It does say something when humanity isn't ready to share things. Illusive man is doing a lot of exceptions during this mission. It's very clear from the dialogue. He's clearly just playing nice for now, especialy when he takes a lot of flack from all the sides. And he did hire me to take care of collectors, blowing up the base was the plan all along, then at the last minute he presents me this deal that I should save it.

Whut? Clearly something he had planned a long time. And how can you trust a person with so much power when you don't really know his true motives? You can't.

If the base was saved for all the spieces, not just for Cerberus's own designs, I even might consider it. Really. But I am not ready to leave it to the Illusive man alone. I just don't have the trust for him as he keeps hiding things and playing bs behind a smile.

They are trolling, upto now they've been pretty good at it, but continuing their argument when they've been shown details of the upcoming game is pretty blatant, you can see their pattern in other threads where morality is mentioned.

There as never any specific plan. When the Illusive Man saw an opportunity to maximize the victory over the Collectors he tried to act on it. Nothing unreasonable about that.

Even if the base isn't shared with all species it can still benefit all species by helping with the defeat of the Reapers.

There weren't only humans on that crew. They should be sharing the tech, so we would be able to defend the galaxy better against reapers when they come. Simple as that. I wish there had been option like that. I'd taken it. But now it seemed like Cerberus only was getting the tech.

I am not gonna let that happen. Illusive man is a lose canon and always has been.

Again, not an answer.

When a Quarian admiral goes:
"Geth never tried to talk to use before. We do not trust them. It's obvious they only care about themselves, why should we trust them?"

Every argument you use agaisnt Cerberus can be used by Krogan/Quarian/whomever to jsutify THEIR mistrust and refusal to work together.Of coruse, I cna't expect you to see that, blinded as you are.

Hypocrite you were, hypocrite you remain.

So what if they don't share the tech?

What if you could give only your human squadmates an awesome gun but not your alien ones? Would you just opt not to use the gun at all?

That wouldn't make any sense if that were the case.

Is the galaxy worse off if one race has a weapon useful for killing Reapers that they don't share?

Or is it worse off if nobody has a useful weapon for killing Reapers?

Yet you are ready smash other people's decissions to the ground with hard force and call them dishonest, even when they neccessarily aren't. Most likely Paragon players are fueled by need to save as many lives as possible and not to involve civilians. I always try to maximize the survivor count because I care about people and WANT them to work together against Reapers, not just bulwark the humanity only. Because it is very short-sighted.

Other races have many amazing things to offer, so why not share and work to common goal?

ME3 is irrelevant to the discussion - since Shepard doesn't know at hteh time of hte CB decision about the future....but I know that you cannot justify anything without it (even when meta-gaming).

If you care about minimizing losses then save the Collector base. It is your best chance to even the odds against the Reapers.

You - and everyone else in the room - are dead anyway. Giving the gun to that stranger is a chance for everyone to get out alive.

But these comparison are useless since you will nitpick on the comparison to obufascate hte issue anyway.

Good, we agree on something then. I hope you saved the Destiny Ascencion then and the council. ;)

I've done everything I can to rally allies behind my banner in these games. So I don't need the stinking base, it's just a slave-boat we got.

This isn't some random stranger. You've had an entire game to get to know the Illusive Man and Cerberus. If you still think they can't be trusted I want to know why. What did they do in ME2 that made you doubt their motives?

I think most of you are just genre savvy and don't know how to role-play.

There is a grissly bear outside of your cabin. You are locked in with that stranger you mentioned. There is a loaded rifle over the fireplace. The stranger says he is familiar with guns and asks for the rifle.

Do you give it to him?
