I do find the costume design interesting in Redemption, but I don't think I can manage to sit through Felicia Day's writing >.>.

You know a movie is not very popular when the DVD release is so soon after it's initial release. At least that's how it is with movies and cinema, some movies don't even make it to cinema and just are released straight to DVD.

Well, the entire thing was, what, a YouTube series?

Yep. A web series. Just like The Guild and Dr. Horrible.

It's free on the internet, why would you get a DVD?
Extras and to support the people who made it. I really enjoyed Dr. Horrible, so I purchased the DVD for it.

True. Which is why the "support the people who made it" part is in there. Same with buying DVD sets of television shows, really.

Youtube videos are kinda crappy. Even the HD vids aren't that hot. Not to mention the site's become a real ad-farm.
I'd rather buy a DVD and be able to watch as much as I like with crystal clear picture and no screwing over my monthly data limit.
