Further to the recent topic about games you haven't "got around to" playing through, I was wondering do you guys have any games in your library that you will probably never complete, and if you do why?

For example, here are two of mine:

Dead Space -  every time I play it, it makes me want to play "another space-based horror game" and I end up playing that instead.

Crysis Warhead - when you're not playing through it to see the amazing graphics any more, I think Crysis gameplay eventually gets quite boring.

Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2
Silent Hill 4
Lionheart
Fallout: Tactics

F:T because I thought it was crap when I played it. The others I started playing and thought they were ok. There are so many other games I rather play however, so I don't think I'll ever go back to any of them

The Witcher. I received it as a birthday gift years ago. It's still in shrinkwrap. It will probably stay that way for the rest of my life. I have no interest in playing it.

I got as far as the next-to-last chapter.  Then I just lost interest.

Also:

NWN2.    (the wonky camera did me in).

Fallout 3

Half-Life 2  (I get bored with shooters, unless they have Shepard...)

Half life is my favorite FPS series though :crying: To each their own. Anyway idk. I plan on playing them all that I haven't for my hopeful let's play series in the future but probably fallout tactics the most. I just suck at those kind of games. Probably all my NES games too.

I actually like how the camera works in exploration mode using just a mouse, minus the fact that you can't look up. Which is stupid. The main problem I think was how they did the art. There's always these rafters and chandeliers and other nonsense blocking the view.

Caesar III

I couldn't make myself play past the level where I had to fight off war elephants. Defeating that level isn't the problem - I lose interesting in pursing the game further.

Spore. It's a game too awful to complete(at least for the space stage). More specifically, it's too tedious. I'd rather work for 8 hours than play it for 8.

Gothic 3. Apparently the Community Patches make it pretty good. But I'll never know.

NWN2. I'll probably never complete this. The camera just gets on my nerves too much even though I've modified it to be less sensitive. Maybe I will beat it one day, maybe I won't bother.

Witcher 1 would have made the list too but I downloaded a save near the end so I could "beat" the game in a manner of speaking. I had spent many hours on it and I wasn't about to put it down. The combat was terrible but I wanted to see the ending of the game. Was it worth it? Well, I've seen worst endings.

I did some of them in coop and they are much more fun and easier that way. Try to make one of your heretic friends become a 40k fan and worship the god emperor. (**** the emperor I say. I'm partial to da boyz)
