I honestly cannot understand the hype. At first it was great and visually stunning, but after that wore off, you were left with the biggest waste of time.
Plants vs. Zombies is a more enjoyable game :/

Spore, it starts out interesting enough but once you get to the space age it just becomes a boring same-o same-o piece of crap. EA had a nice idea to start then just proceeded to make a mediocure piece of junk of it in the end.
I had the same problem with that game.

The Witcher 2, I got so incredibly bored in the last act,
But that act is so short... it wouldn't take more than 1 hour to finish.
As for me, hmm, quite a bit. I'll only mention games I actually started playing and lost interest in them, because I have dozens upon dozens of games I still haven't started and there's a good chance I'll never play some of those.
Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30... couldn't get into it with a passion and sort of lost interest about halfway through.
Freedom Fighters... found the gameplay to be too dull after the first mission.
Need for Speed Undercover... definitely will never complete it.
Dungeon Siege... got bored to death after about 3 hours of play.
Rise of Nations... I was blown away by the game at first and finished one of the campaigns (and enjoyed it quite a bit), but for some reasons it's been impossible for me to get around to play the other campaigns.
LOTR: Return of the King... meh, the gameplay and checkpoint system annoyed me to high heaven.
Return to Mysterious Island... I love point and clicks but the inventory puzzles in this one were just too much of a drag to manage.
Syberia... this one hurts, because I actually was into the story, but the lack of a TLJ like feature to move quickly through screens made it painful to play. Besides, I lost my saves...
Saints Row 2... the PC version is such an unoptimized piece of trash!!! <_<

Don't know why, specifically; I just hated playing it.
Alan Wake - same as above.
LA Noire - same as above.
Fallout: New Vegas - after I realized I'd botched or already done a couple of quests that would have garnered the best outcomes for Boone and Arcade Gannon, I stopped playing. I just don't have the ambition to start up again.
Red Dead Redemption
Great game, but I got tired of it. I think I'd gotten pretty far, too.
RAGE
I got partway through the subway town quests, but started up another playthrough of Lost Odyssey, and didn't get back to it. (Of course, then I started up Skyrim, and haven't gotten back to that LO playthrough, either).
Tales of Vesperia
Got to the final boss and stopped. I guess I just didn't want it to be over.
Valkyria Chronicles - see Tales of Vesperia.
White Knight Chronicles 2
How many times can I fight Duke Gigas and fail? I gave up there. Sad, too, because I beat WKC1, and was sooo looking forward to WKC2.

Wait, you like these games, but you don't think you'll ever finish them?Gurris wrote...
There are a whole bunch of games that I really liked but will probably never bring myself to finish. The most notable ones are
Deus Ex: HR
Fallout 3
The Witcher 2
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Zelda: Twilight Princess
Uncharted 3
i can understand if you think you'll have the time to finish them or something like that(maybe you had a problem with the disc or accidentally deleted an important file from the game on the pc), but you're willingly saying you think you'll bring yourself to finish them even though you like them.
I Don't mean any offense, i just don't understand that.

The Witcher 1 -- Bad combat system, period. From looking at the review from Yahtzee, it looks like Witcher 2 is the same.
it's not even close to being the same thing.

GTA 4 - last mission was way too hard without checkpoints. i did enjoy most of it, though. (the game that is)
Saints Row - once again, lack of checkpoints in long missions. i did do a fair chunk of the side activities, though, that was fun.
Saint's Row 2 - defeated all the enemy gangs, but didn't finish the Ultor story arc, game crashed way too often.
Bad Company 2 - i liked it the campaign, but i liked multiplayer more so i mostly played that (usually i always finish campaign before going online). also, unexpected quitting back to desktop.
Morrowind - this game is masochism. good, but still masochism. load times on 360 are also stupidly long, figured an original Xbox game would load faster on a more recent console.
Ghostbusters: The Video Game - Stone Angels. curse those Stone Angels!

I've played a lot of horror games.... but for some reason ghosts scare me more than anything else.

1. Assassin's Creeds - I hate predefined characters especially when a character's background is based on spoiled brat bully teenager. I can't stand it for more than 10 minutes + all all the jumping and acrobatic skill which require player's precision and timing greatly annoyed me.
2. Alpha Protocol - Predefined character + the jerky slow mouse motion in every puzzles or traps or containers that required activation within limited time cause the game to be unplayable for me.
3.Superpower 2010 - No single campaign that interest me and lack of mods to create my own custom campaign.
4. Divinity II - I like the concept of morphing into dragon but I hate solving puzzle that require my skill as player instead of my character. Jumping across moving platforms, that again requires precision, timing and reflex, annoy me - which is the reason I never like playing games such as Super Mario Bros since the day it's was created, although I enjoy using my skill in games like Counter Strike and any beat 'em up games.
5. Final Fantasy 7 - I still owned the greatest JRPG of all time to this day although my PS 1 already die a long time ago. I have lost counts how many attempts I've tried to complete the game. The only thing that attracted me was the movie cutscenes which I can viewed from internet. I hate the jerky PS 1 controller, UI, camera view and above all I hate Cloud Strife because he is not like my traditional cRPG character where the character is always be my avatar. I have played FF 3 and 4 before but I never treated such games as RPG. Instead I viewed all FF prior to FF7 as classic arcade adventure games - which is fine since I never assume any role in such games. FF7 is the root that cause me to hate all predefined characters to this days. As long as RPG uses set character I will not buy such games - because if I can't assume a role in RPG, then I may as well play any other games which don't require me to do so or read novels and watch movies which is far superior experience than interacting with stupid lame RPG's set characters in video games.

I don't scare very easily, but damn if I couldn't even make it through the first half of Fatal Frame 2. That game is hella scary tbh.
Anyway, I've been sitting on Halo: Reach and Arkham Asylum for a while, and have just had zero interest in playing either. I'm all about Skyrim right now (though I'm taking a break to replay ME1 and 2), with ME3 right around the corner. I'm also planning another run through DA:O in the near future.
In addition, I'm considering checking out Kingdoms of Amalur, and Hitman: Absolution and Resident Evil 6 are also on the horizon. So it could be a very long time before I ever touch any other game, not just Halo and Arkham Asylum.
EDIT: Also, Dragon Age 2. I started to play it a few months ago, but lost interest and went back to playing DA:O. It's the first and only Bioware game I've played that failed to capture my interest.
I suppose I'll try to play it again sometime soon. But not until after another run through DA:O first.

Gothic 4 and Dragon Age 2
I found both to be horrible experiences, and both bored the hell out of me.
My most recent completed are the Witcher games and Baldur's Gate 2 SOA/TOB. I'm still working on Skyrim, Assassin's Creed, and Origins. I have a long way to go on Skyrim. I'm in the latter stages of the Landsmeet with Origins. I'll start Assassin's Creed after Origins.
