when it comes to big games like Mas Effect (My favorite games) I have a rule for sequels...2 months abstinence from the prequels before the sequel comes out....

now I realized days ago that I never saved Kirraeh on Virmire and I always told the Volus + Salarian scientist on the citadel to stop scanning collectors or do it legally.....

now my question is, do you think that the impact of those 2 quests in ME3 is worth a full ME1-ME2 run? I'd rather not unless they have some very positive effect on ME3

well... no, not really if you ask me. i'd rather use the savegame-editor instead of investing a ****ton of time into yet another completionist-playthrough.

whoops. i had one hell of aday, pardon my inability to think straight. anyway.
i thought there was the possibility to transfer saves from the box onto pc and vice versa. wouldn't that be worth a try for you?

Only surviving squad mates have some worthy repercussions

ME 1 & 2 are my favorite games so I'd be playing them anyways. That being said, I doubt these two options (Kirrahe & Keeper scanning) will have such a big effect that they are worth breaking your blackout.

I think you should wait. Play through ME 3 excited as hell and if you want to see the cotent later, play through the whole series again.

it's not as much blackout as it is yearning

they say, in my country, that hunger is the best condiment. It will make the experience so much more rewarding

I do the opposite, before a new game in a series I replay them to get the lore and game play fresh in my mind for the new game. I'm actually not doing that this time though for ME1 as my save game from it is the one I KNOW I want to use. I am playing through again on ME2 so I have my engineer do everything. I don't want to change the class at the start of ME3 so once I finish this run I'll have my 3 characters ready for ME3.

I think playing the first two games would help you get even more hyped for ME 3 but then again I just like playing the first two games period.

Well, Kirrahe is awesome so you need to save that dude - and the Keeper scanning quest may just lead to some more answers on their nature and/or origins.

^this, besides if you don't save Kirrahe you shouldn't be able to see him in ME3 it would be some other in his place as for keepers the info that you help get should help shed the light on them.

edit* and besides Kirrahe said in trailer that he'll stand with you and fight.
sorry that was leaked gameplay
