How many accurate media spinoffs do you know of? I seen all sort of errors in other series.

But the first three books did not have these problems, because they were written by someone who actually knew the subject matter.

Could the possibility of how long the ME2 was be hinted by Cerberus Network news? That in turn would mean it was almost a year.

Romance doesn't need sex, and I would honestly not want to read a sex scene written by Dietz even if you paid me.

I think just found something interesting (sorry for so many post)

In order or the event of the Mass Effect stories.

2183 Ascension

2185 Mass Effect 2

2186 Retribution.

Theirs something odd about the dating of Retribution. It said they were 15 in it but, that can't be because look at the years between the end of retribution and a couple months after ME1. They would in turn be 16, add two years and their 18 wallah 2188 or 2187 depending on what months their birthdays are on. Either Im wrong ( which I don't really care) or something is wrong with the whole timeline and authors and facts are failing to communicate.

A year from the start until the beginning of ME3.

They were fifteen, or at least Nick was - but he was probably only a few months from sixteen. And Deception takes place not long after Retribution, so Nick should still be sixteen.

Where are you getting that information Retribution takes a couple months afterwards? All I can hope is Mass Effect Authors are proof reading. And I hope we only saw a "demo" so to speak and this will be corrected.

Yes, I would very much like that Klijpope. I was actually thinking about that myself earlier, the writing is so bad that I really would prefer if it was rewritten by someone who actually has an inkling on how to write stories, if only just so I can bear reading it without cringing. This would of course mean fixing all the lore errors as well, of which there are many.

Well according to the Wiki's timeline Retribution takes place shortly after The Arrival - which I still think is weird - since Deception has to be soon after because of the situation with Nick, and no one seems to be making that big of a deal over the system destroyed by Shepard.

Yeah this thing comes out a week from today and the preview looks like a badly written fanfic, I don't have much hope for the final product.

I thought the first 3 ME books were good........well at least good to a fan of the game world.

This one is pretty bad, I think most every factoid that is expanded upon in that book excerpt is wrong. Sure, you blame the author first, but really, these ME books are not very big. Was not a single Bioware employee able to flip through the book and read some random paragraphs? Within 15 minutes they would have seen enough goofs, that they might at least suggest one of the games writers at least read the book and do a little more editing than running a spell checker.

Too bad, I was looking forward to the new novels. Are the comic books any better?

Whether Arrival is the true ending of ME2 is disputed. Most of those choices are player choices. But ill say it again it doesn't help that the writers don't put enough info on dates and place of time. I'm just going to take everything by a grain of salt. Mass Wiki does help you get an idea but, also some of those facts are people simply connecting the dots. For example most of the dates on the time line are from adding and subtracting previous points of events with out any source offically saying thats when it happen. Not all but, some.

If your looking for some great literature, I doubt you'll enjoy them. On the other hand if you like short stories then yes I recommend them.

On randomhouse: http://www.randomhou.../9780345520739/ by clicking on the cover you can open a preview, from page 18 to 30 each one is a chapter first page. The more I read the more I wan't to cancel my preorder .
I will probably end up reading it but it's gonna be a huge .... deception ... B).

Oh, FFS. One of the slaves on the ship was turian...and captured on Palaven.  Yeah, that's right: batarians raiding the capital world of the Turian Hierarchy, a society where EVERYONE serves in the military at some point and which has the largest fleet in the galaxy.

Also, apparently, Hendel has never been to Omega.
Except in "Ascension" but that doesn't count.

Nick gets some spiffy "light Level III Hydra armor". Dietz is apparently naming stuff based on screenshots of the ME1 inventory.
