I read the prologue and stopped. The amount of grammar issues annoy me and it feels so dumbed down in comparison to Karpyshyn.
Hopefully Dietz doesn't write something incredibly stupid past page 54.
Well we've seen the first pages of future chapters so... yes he does - quite a lot in fact.
The Biotics Guild, Aria just going off for a jaunt to Thessia, a turian being taken by batarian slavers while on the turian homeworld of Palaven, and a ****ton of other stuff.

"There aren't any public newscasts on Omega,"
Don't know who said it though, because the next page isn't in the preview. Not that it @#$%ing matters.

So, batarian ships have Tantalus core. I guess Alliance can close eyes on possible Cerberus spies while they have THAT around.
So, Gillian ages both for own years and Shepard's since Shepard's death. Because Commander is that awesome.
So, aliens need to meet in person to have an auction. And they don't have armed guards in actual room.
So TIM gives two craps about bioweapon while sitting at faraway station with only chosen people around.
So Council doesn't believe that Reaper on roof is not geth technology and ridicule Shepard in ME2, but Anderson with lousy corpse of unknown origin is enough to make them consider Reaper theory in public and more or less seriously.
So... batarians have embassy.
So quarians which claim that they can assemble almost everything from junk get Gillian new human armor instead of remaking quarian one.
So Cerberus agents openly admits in being such with quarians around. PM me when Cerberus will start to issue badges and t-shirts.
So Hendel Mitra doesn't have a problem with Cerberus agent around. Or trusting such agent. Or being ordered by "barely adult".
So turian and salarian teenagers have own biotic supremacy organisation. Of course it's reasonable for this races which just discovered effects of eezo and biotics are new for such societies.
So what people do after finding out their father was killed? Note said father was drug addict they barely saw, plus said father was the reason of autism, plus there was awesome teacher who "cured" (!) autism and said father was not seen in... years? Of course, abandon the only people who cared about you and risk your life on a way of revenge!!! Bonus points because this information was from the most untrusted source possible.
Oh well.

Update:
So apparently Dietz wrote a how-to for video game tie-in writers that I'm linking to here. While some of what he says is encouraging in that he stresses actually playing the game first and trying to figure out what the fans want, unfortunately the last paragraph really tips his hand and shows that he, like most, is just looking to make a quick buck:From the article by William C. Dietz.....
As for what can go right, well there's the money I mentioned earlier, plus more books with your name on them, plus more "hits" on the Internet, plus what could be some new business relationships, plus the possibility of some new readers, (Yes, I have reason to believe that least five or six people read HALO: The Flood and went on to purchase other William C. Dietz books!) Good luck out there--and may the gamers be with you.
The BiowEAre doctors must have found him to be a kindred spirit, like-minded and equally motivated by the prospect of hitching his wagon to whatever popular franchise might drag him toward otherwise undeserved financial success. They are diluting their franchise by including such parasites and they don't even care.
Whoever approved this book sucks, and I want to kick them in the shins.

For that matter, anybody else incredibly annoyed that he has the Asari Council member more or less accuse Anderson of shifting blame for Grayson's actions away from being the work of Cerberus, just because Anderson himself is a human and Cerberus is a pro-human organization, after all.... <_<

This line basically sealed it that Dietz knows absolutely nothing about the series other than the information he was actually given - he could have gone onto Youtube and watched a single video of someone on Omega and heard all the ****ing newscasts.
Goddamn this is just bad, just hilariously bad.

I do believe this is the first time I hear BSN's strongest words of disapproval in the context of a book! *claps hands, which as you know, is a human way of showing appreciation so old it outlives hu-town*makenzieshepard wrote...
You know what, forget this I'm canceling my order of the book. If I ever pick it up it'll be off Amazon's resellers that sell it for one cent plus whatever bogus shipping charge. I'll just apply the giftcard amount to the other ME3 orders I have pending. I'll be on the wiki with the rest of you to pick up whatever might have happened.

I haven't read a single page yet, but seriously, Gillian isn't austistic in this? I mean, that's kind of a very central thing to her character so he can't have literally just forgotten about it, right? Right?

Hu-Town? AHHH!!
The parody Jeff wrote last night is literally no longer joke. It's all pretty much in line with this tripe. It's like a book written for children.

Any other possible explanation how two characters were explicitly stated to be 18 while they should be 15-16 and (at least) on of them has mentality and interests of 12 years old?
