Also, it makes no sense for Gillian to have been gone six years, as the Quarian expedition she and Hendel left on was only a five year project.

It was true. Spacers did live aboard starships for most of their lives. Some people thought them space-born vagabonds, but modern military fleets couldn't function without them, and neither could the colonisation drives.
"Military service runs in the family," observed another man. And he would know - he had been a good friend of Shepard's, a mentor of sorts, for many years. His name was David Anderson and he was one of the most decorated war heroes in the Systems Alliance. The Alliance was the representative body of Earth and all human colonies in deep space. "Both his parents were in the Navy."

"Well, what about Shepard?" It was Ambassador Udina who was talking. Udina was a human diplomat stationed at The Citadel, that vast space station that served as the centre of galactic civilisation. It had been discovered by the asari, a monogendered race of blue aliens, female in appearance, nearly 2,700 years ago. "He's a spacer; lived aboard starships most of his life."

They actually brought Greyson's body to the Citadel just to show off? Man, they're risking it to be stolen.
Why not? They needed to do something drastic to get the Council to even try and accept that the Reapers may be real.

And they couldn't do the same with a photograph and scans?

An actual body is more jarring and real to most people. Even the Turian Councilor who is a major douche bag literally couldn't finger quote away a freaking cybernetic corpse. Well maybe he could but the others couldn't. They would either say the pictures were fabricated or some idiotic crap. They already had told them about evidence from scientists about the corpse and the Council was still blew it off.

Oh, so they're still trying to prove the existence of the Reapers to the council? EVEN THOUGH 6 YEARS HAS PASSED SINCE ME1?! Seriously! What!? Why is this so confusing?!
Less then 3 years passed between end of ME1 and Deception.

I dunno... I'm only on page 21 and it sounded like the the Council were only skeptical of Reaper involvement, not of their actual existence. Which is really confusing. This would definitely be easier to read if we knew it happened prior to ME3.

It's possible that Liara find out with it that there's something important on Mars Prothean dig site and maybe something on Eden Prime.

Reapers? We have dismissed that claim.
The timeline is this. ME2 --- Retribution --- Deception --- ME3, but there seems to be a retcon with Gillian's age.

It isn't confusing for them they actually believe that Sovereign is a geth construct. Even when a few years has passed soon people start to forget the **** that really happened. They even used Reaper tech before and still believe its just advanced Geth technology. That itself isn't to far fetched. A machine race like the Geth are advanced as hell so its not much of a stretch to believe the Geth did this instead of a myth.

The Salarian councilor always seemed a bit open to the idea of the possibility the Reapers existed but there wasn't enough evidence for them and also the majority of the Council didn't want to believe it. Now it seems that the Salarian Council member don't want to actually discount that theory.

Why does it say Miranda is 35 when that age doesn't make too much sense? A lore screw up. Probably an attempt to make Gillian old enough to act more mature.

Miranda has the whole 'I'm perfect' thing going for her. That might have something to do with it. But this Gillian thing is just inexcusable.1136342t54 wrote...

I dont think he has had the operation yet to get the cyborg legs. If he did he wouldn't need the cane.

Its not the fact that she looks young but she is too old to actually be genetically engineered to have enhanced biotic abilities. That would have had to happen before Humans actually knew much of anything about biotics.
