I'm already laughing just by reading this thread, not the excerpt. Aw man, that's some major bull**** there in this book. The next Twilight, by this wonderful writing quality?
Now that's just cruel comparison.

It isn't Twilight until we get a poorly written romance scene...
Oh god it's coming isn't it?

There has to be a reason Nick and Gillian were both retconned into being 18.Yuoaman wrote...

Oh, I'm sorry. It's Hendel who thinks calling C-Sec is worthless.
Dammit, Hendel, YOU PUT THAT IDIOT BALL BACK WHERE YOU FOUND IT RIGHT THIS INSTANT.

Well, I think there's a reason Gillian got her age upped.... :innocent:Yuoaman wrote...

So, Dietz doesn't know the difference between biotic implants and biotic amps. Oh. I. Am. So. Surprised.
is it sad that that's one of the smallest errors?

At this point it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't know the difference between Saren and Blasto!didymos1120 wrote...

Dude, with that stuff you DON'T joke.
You can't top Twilight.
You simply can't!

I also like how one can just casually go and get their implants replaced. 'Cause it's not like, dangerous surgery on one's central nervous system or anything.
You have to have literally hours of experience.
Days, even.

You can't, but Dietz is certainly giving it an attempt.

Really at this point, it's just not worth it to complain over fairly minor stuff like that.didymos1120 wrote...
And of course, Dietz doesn't get that the L-series implants are made by humans for humans, and aren't some galaxy-wide bit of standard gear that anyone can use.

Oh, I'm just documenting at this point. BTW, did you know the Dark Star is a lounge on the 28th floor of a skyscraper and filled with gaming machines and people in formal-wear, and it has an awesome view of the Presidium? I sure didn't! It's also an unlikely habitat for a working-stiff. Like, say, a Presidium groundskeeper or something.

Well since there's obviously nothing contradicting that THEN IT MUST BE TRUE.

Please, keep 'em coming didy, I just can't stop laughing between all of Drew's carefully crafted characters and mythos being biotically "shoved" (subset, "throw") aside!

Okay, this thread is just great. Kai Leng sneaking into Anderson's apartment to steal his cereal is amazing.

The fact that it's too late for them to add a reference to Kai Leng stealing cereal into ME3 makes me very sad indeed.
