I'm shocked about how calm both Ashley and Kaidan are. Not that moved by what happened. Sure what Kaidan says indicates shock, but the tone of his voice doesn't.

Ashley was just following orders. She was ordered to kill Wrex. She did her duty. That is what Ashley always did throughout the game. That is not racist, that is just following orders.

Uh...yes Wrex would need to escape since they're gonna nuke the planet. He would also need to kill everyone because the second Shep hits the ground (and this is assuming Shep dies in one shot which is unlikely) everyone in there with a gun will start firing at him. He's in plain sight of EVERYONE. They will immediately open fire. (Hell everyone's on pins and needles before he even takes out the shotgun). There's no way Wrex will make it out alive. It's not like he's against 5 or 6 people. He's against STG, at least 5 other squaddies, and those mooks on the Normandy. Then if he somehow evades them he's against loads of geth and rogue Krogan (not to mention Saren himself). It's just stupid. Wrex is not that dumb. He might be mad but he's not that mad.

Good well firstly you've seen the things she's said first hand some of them are arguably racist but only because she shows signs of ignorance, but now as we've established in this thread alone she is aware she is making those comments and from the definition of the dictionary that makes her racist not a bad person just racist now I and I'm sure most others would appreciate it if you were to just accept this fact and continue on with your other activities.

I was thinking stilling a shuttle in the facility. Wrex's plan was probably just make sure Shepard and co won't be able to destroy the base. In a one one fire fight Wrex would either kill him rather quickly (he can take more damage) or just run up and snap his neck then escape. Its a possibility but one that Wrex could easily be confident of doing. Wrex pretty clearly says its time to do it his way. He knows they would have to kill him because they can't let the genophage off the planet. 

You can say its stupid but to Wrex he sees Shepard as risking his entire people. Dying simply to make sure they won't have a chance at suceeding would be a worthy sacrifice for him. He blatantly say he's going to do it his way so its highly likely that someone will get shot at that point. 

Edit: Also Wrex was up against enough Krogan to kill a large amount of his men when meeting his father and somehow got away. Its not impossible that Wrex either doesn't care about living or dying at that moment or believes that he has a small chance of escaping the initial fight.

Multiple scientists it seems were working at the base also. It isn't unlikely that some were already trying to evacuate. I'm just trying to think of a logical reason for her getting away.

Except Shepard is not risking his entire people (which Shep explains if he/she has enough time or brain power. I'm pretty sure non-enough paragon Shep would've realized what to say soon enough.)

You're joking right? If Shep and Wrex had a one on one even in ME1 it wouldn't have been a one-two done deal unless one of them cheated. Wrex can take more damage but Shep also has far more damage dealers on his side. You're saying this like everyone around Wrex is immobile or something. Wrex would have to take them into account in any plan of attack.

If Wrex had lunged at Shep and *then* Ash took the shot I'd have no issue. She didn't wait til then. He was still just talking when she attacked him.

It is stupid. He's dying for no reason. (which Shep straight up says if he/she did his mission or has enough paragon/renegade points).

And highly likely =/= someone getting shot. Like Shep says Ash had no right to take that shot. I don't care if she thought Wrex was about to eat Shepard.


Re your edit:
Wrex ran away on his homeplanet. Not on a planet filled to the brim with hostiles and the only means of escape being said hostiles transportation.

Exactly. I doubt Saren would've had any transportation that he didn't control. (Least their be spies for the council.)

She had to "outrun a nuke in a utility pod".  I doubt the pod had legs
