While on the first run of the discs on my computer, disc 2 won't load to install the game. what are my options?

How did you get the game?
If it's recent, you might be able to go back where you bought it from and exchange your package for a new one if there's a defective disc.

Quickest and cheapest fix is probably to buy and download the GOG.com version of NWN.
If you can, check on another computer to see if the disk is readable there. If so, you might need to go for the more expensive option of replacing your DVD drive.
