We are guaranteed some sort of rewards when you import along side the fact that you get to keep all your choices. Bioware can release all that info any time they please, just be happy with the fact that they actually care about you enough to release any news at all.

With the addition of stuff to attract new fans. I was wondering what can us LOYAL fans who played the first two Mass Effect games can expect as a bonus reward. I don't mean "you can unlock" items I mean when I port my games what bonus items am I going to get. I ask because a lot has been done to attract new fan's eg: Multi-player most LOYAL fans where opposed to, the omni-blade which looks like something from Halo and now an entire hand holding component written into the game JUST for noobs who ignored the first two games. What about us the players who have supported this amaizing franchise since day one. Please just a gun, armour or a casual outfit PLEASE.

That's kinda how I look at it. Although I wouldn't say no to more free stuff. Everybody likes free things.

As a fan of this series that has indeed been here right from the start and played the first 2 games 20+ times combined, I'm looking for the best game in this trilogy and from the sounds of things that's just what I'm going to get.
I'm certainly not looking to get some arbitrary award or pat on the back for being here since the beginning, nor do I need it. Good old BSN. Greedy, needy, I deserve this, I deserve that.

Wow so you are all in support of having ME3 being watered down for newcomers who IGNORED the first two. While we have to put up with an ME game that is basically being made for them at the expense of what we love. Like true RPG elements for example. Wow that is SHOCKING.
No. I'm in support of a ME3 which will feel like an entirely different experience because I took the time to play through the first two installments. I don't see how the game is watered down because Bioware chose (or did not choose) to give me an extra weapon or armor pack.

Don't forget the little cut scene changes and things we get that others don't necessarily get. Since they only get to make the big choices and not some of the smaller ones if they don't play the games...

None of these things are true, or happening, or...real. So....um....you argument is invalid? And not really what this thread seemed to be about. Very confusing there. High five?

You're right how dare they make a game that is accesible to new fans to boost the sales and keep the Mass Effect IP going on into the future? The nerve of them.
It's more "rpg-y" than the second one, and frankly seems moreso than the first one. Making a product that is accessible to new consumers does not preclude it from appealing to long time ones. Basically all these threads are a way of trying to mask the fundamental arguement of ME3 does not seem to cater directly to me.

I get more content then anyone because no one died in my initial canon playthrough. Hooray for loyal Shepards too!

I'm pretty sure my reward for supporting Mass Effect is more Mass Effect.
This.
The fact that we can even import our choices and characters is enough of a reward in my opinion.
Getting to play what made Mass Effect 3 around in the first place is also a reward considering the first two games are fantastic.
But the biggest reward? Having a conclusion to out Shepard's saga. Many games that have import or have claimed to in the past never even came close to this. Even the Baldur's Gate series (which some people swear by) don't really import anything other than your character (choices made in BG1 are pretty much non-existent in BG2).
And as for new features? I may not agree with multiplayer but calling people 'noobs' who simply have a different gaming style or new to the series isn't exactly polite. We can still play OUR Shepard. Choices we made still affect the story, even if its a mere cameo or change in dialogue, at least it shows that Bioware acknowledges and puts thought into these things. At least BioWare ALLOWS these kind of choices.
Asking for anything more is simply fanservice and kind of bratty. And those who don't like ME3 can simply choose to not purchase the game and play the previous series or another game.
All I know is I'm getting ME3 on Day One and preparing myself ;-)

I get to pick Ashley up tenderly when she's wounded since I romanced her in Mass Effect. That's a pretty big reward.
And I get to not do that because she's dead. If I wasn't able to carry over my decisions from Mass Effect, she wouldn't be.
