Or Shepard wakes up from a dream and he is still on the Normandy 1 and he is about to do that first mission with Nihlus. lol that would be...

...recursion?Image IPB Just imagined - Shep, Kaydan, Anderson and Nihlus, all with headache drinking some "Adams' special marinade" with mineral water and Shepard mumbles: "we told you not to mix turian liquor with wodka"

And on background we can hear Sovereign laugh:
- Yes, Harbringer was right, that organic freak show is strong stuff!

and then the camera pans out and as it does you see sovereign and harbinger sitting in some lazy boy arm chairs watching the normandy crew on a television lol.

Yeah. And no one will blame Bioware for "bad final".

But this is not the case of a new game or a new customer. I dont think it is too much to ask for Bioware to throw a little nod to us hardcore loyalists for purchasing 3 consecutive games...

A list of characters that you probably only encounter if you've played one, or both, of the preceding games would be a list of nods to long-term mass effect players. That list would likely include characters like: Shiala, Gianna Parasini, Kirrahe, Conrad Verner, Rana Thanoptis, the Rachni Queen and the ultimate fan favourite Wrex.

I haven't read the leaked material, or followed releases particularly close for fear of spoiling it for myself, but I'm guessing all or most of those characters will be buried in the games programming but only unlockable if you've brought characters forward.

That's added content, and a lot more valuable than an extra rifle or a different off-duty costume.

Maybe I am old school and just long for the days when companies made it seem the fans were everything to them. Instead we get this attitude of  "if you want the content you do what it takes to get it". So if that is the way Bioware is going, this could be my last Bioware game. I am a small fish so my money may not matter unless there are countless other small fish that feel the same as me.

I don't believe it ever worked that way before. All these added content incentives are relatively recent innovations, and I think potentially self-destructive for the industry. There was a time that products were expected to stand on their own merits (plus advertising budgets), but now we're inundated with tacky bribes to purchase programs that we already want to own.

Generally when I get special discounts or offers for products I expect them from retailers not producers. I don't have any relationship with bioware (aside from occasionally posting here), but I do have a relationship with the people at the gamestore. If they feel like offering sales, discounts or specialist incentives then that's awesome and I appreciate it; when a producer does it I barely even notice, certainly I don't expect these things handed out to me just because I'm such a valuable commodity.

If that was really the ending i would scream, laugh, flip the bird at my television, and then start up my next character.

With one remark - if they stop remind Shepard who they are, like Blake or that "punch line"Image IPB journalist. It looks odd, especially when you remember who are they, but have no means to stop them (other than press "Spacebar").

Just ordered the art book from B&N

Nearly cost me as much in shipping to Australia as the book itself.

Which means - I just paid $16 for whatever DLC comes with the book.

*SCORE*

*now officially makes me a more loyal fan than you. YEEEAAHHHH!

*also makes me somewhat stoopid.

Anyone else have any ideas to hijack this very pointless and whiney topic so it gets some lockdown action? we already had people talking about NWN and just came up with a sweet ending for Mass Effect 3.

Ignore it and it will disappear under new layers of new topics. Yeah, I know, it's boring. So we can use those words Stanley don't like.
