No that was just a temp voice.
Whether it was or was not, Michael Beattie has publically confirmed that he is not in the game.

Where does this entitled attitude come from? It's not like Bioware or EA fostered this kind of reckless, illogical behavior by giving out free stuff. What the hell is wrong with you people?
Buy the special edition, or play the Amalur demo if you want some extras.
The 9 seperate DLC items that come with my CE pre-order are just not acceptable. How could they do this to me?
Cloacal obstruction, caused by foreign object. Specialist suggests that their obstruction may be, in fact, more DLC codes for wonders untold. Recommended that the person who created this thread go and fish for them.

I'm not saying we should get free DLC i'm saying a free gun, outfit or armour!!!!! BTW if your paying for ME3 it's not a reward in of itself. You guys have saved EA about $2.50.
I saved them money by getting free DLC? How exactly does that work? I get 6 free guns, as far as I can count. Maybe I'm confused.

The way they show appreciation to their fans is by giving support to the game before, during, and after launch. They learned their mistakes from ME1 with the DLC and have since shown they will continue to support the fans into the future after release. Just be thankful you are getting an ME3 at all.

Like hell, it isn't.
I'm incredibly stoked to play Mass Effect 3, and I would be if the only weapon I had was a sniper rifle.

omni blade for noobs? Doesn't seem that way to me. It's a melee attack, which I also think is very much welcomed. Melee in ME1 and ME2 is laughable.
I don't see how either of those two things are for newcomers? They're improvements over the first two games...

I dunno, some kinda reward for having a registered me1/2 with at least one playthrough completed could be nice, that way you've incentivized people into buying the other games.
Isn't the entire concept of importing your saves across three games an incentive in and of itself? Do I really need another free hat to make me feel special?

Genesis, not quite to a full playthrough but it's enough for some. And from I've heard 3 is going to have another one that covers more choices.
Edit: I'm not after free stuff, just seems like a workable idea.

You still don't get the full experience of actually playing the games and knowing what happened. Besides those are only the major choices, all the minor choices that make the game come alive aren't things that can just be made up in a comic or questionnaire. True fans appreciate this.

With the addition of stuff to attract new fans. I was wondering what can us LOYAL fans who played the first two Mass Effect games can expect as a bonus reward. I don't mean "you can unlock" items I mean when I port my games what bonus items am I going to get. I ask because a lot has been done to attract new fan's eg: Multi-player most LOYAL fans where opposed to, the omni-blade which looks like something from Halo and now an entire hand holding component written into the game JUST for noobs who ignored the first two games. What about us the players who have supported this amaizing franchise since day one. Please just a gun, armour or a casual outfit PLEASE.
It's a game dude, what the **** does loyality have to do with it?
Have some perspective, I didn't play the first Mass Effect until late 2009. Does that make me any less loyal than you?
Stupid.

I'm still waiting to see what they plan to do to incentivise buying the game brand new. So far there's only been pre-order incentives... but that only lasts up to launch.
Who would want to wait? Most people are dying of excitement..
Getting ahead in multiplayer might get some people attracted, although its not PvP oriented.
Pre-orders go far not surprisingly.
You could ask that question to any game and yet they still sell well, it definitely pays to have a fanbase and hype.

Very exciting.

I'm just referring to the OPs "rewards." ME2 had the Cerberus Network and the Zaeed bonus char/mission for new buyers. I'm hoping the same thing happens here... (but I think they're just selling it this time)

Hopefully that's not all compared to what they did with ME2 (but if it is, that's a great incentive for Gold subscribers).

I want more fish. And a bigger display case in my cabin for more model ships. Space hamsters, space gerbils, space iguanas. BW is just doing me wrong, man.
A whole space-zoo. Maybe we could get Urz from Tuchanka.

In fact, I think they've done too much catering to the "loyal" fans thanks to some of the returning characters. Two of them are there due to winning the popularity contest, not because they are actually interesting.
