Each class gets a different kind? I just thought everyone was getting a knife. Are squaddies getting them too?

i think the adept gets some sort of a biotic punch, the engineer is like a omni-blade back hand, i think, from some of the footage i've seen of the game so far

We are not complaining. We making fun of ourselves.
Personally, I try to remember English, since prior my return here, my previous communication on English was more than a year ago. Image IPB

What's wrong with omni-blade?Image IPB Of course, my military commander told us: "if you engaged in HtH, this means you lost all your other equipment, and that means you total moron". Well, he said something else, but I don't have profanities dictionary. Image IPB

Although I'd prefer good old riflebutt or "suppressed" weapon. But wouldn't mind to have omni-blade, as long as it's not mandatory. Better have it, but not need it.

You guys b***h so much. You know there will be dozens of combinations or armor and weapons in the game, why the need for so much extra in order to play the game? They're offering promos of weapons and armor all over the place, you could grab those.

I can understand getting worked up over the DLC thing, but begging, and a few of you have really been begging, for weapons and armor is sad. This is only a game, go and outside and remind yourself what the sun looks like.

just attempting to point out and I don't mean to be rude in any way. From reading the posts in this thread Most people here are against the original poster's we deserve free stuff sort of notion.

technically we don't deserve anything (I mean it would be nice and I wouldn't turn it away if offered Image IPB). Myself and from what I've seen a great deal of others in here are completely fine with what we're already getting.

p.s. I will state my plan to boycott the *cough* cough* action figure scheme. Only thing that I've ever decided to complain about but thats off topic.

I think they mentioned you get to still use said Rifle Butt.  I would prefer a Rifle Bayonett..

Collector Assault Rifle with added claw for stabbing things...sexy.

It was directed at the op, but there have been similar discussions with people just complainingi about the promo offers often, its kind of embarassing if you ask me. Then again, some people are just shameless.

Each class gets a "heavy melee" attack, usually invilving using the omnitool as a weapon.  The omniblade is actually the soldier-specific heavy melee.  Infiltrators get an electrical attack and engineers get a burning omnitool.  The biotic classes seem to get biotic melee attacks, like punches.

I don't think squadmates get them, just Shepard.

Heh, you always know military guy when you see one. Image IPB Geez, Kirrahe squad, plus Shepard squad: "Form the line! Fix bayonets! CHAAAARGE!"Image IPB

P.S. I wonder, will anyone ever do proper shotgun ballistic?

what military do you serve in? HtH is extremely important, especially when you need to take a target alive or when you need to neautalize a threat silently, i was always taught you can't rely on your weapon unless you can rely on yourself as a weapon

I was Navy, but yes, a Bayonet charge is subtle.  Like, when you have absolutley no ammunition left, and the next best alternative is to throw your side arm at something.

I've been discharged for a few years. I didn't get to go fleet though, as I can see with your rating.

We don't have sidearms in general, but there are still a lot of thing to throw: helmet, flask (a.k.a. canteen (though you Yankess switching to Camelbaks lately, not complains here, I like them) or water bottles for our friends in UK), mess kit, entrenching tool, radio, gas mask... NBC kit, if it's still there, your ex-photos, shaving kit... I'm afraid that all I can remember.

Not BLUFOR, obvioisly. Image IPB

O really? How often world militaries, especially most active one one planet, has been engaged in HtH? Last time I checked "news from fronts" (that was long ago, before you start to remind me USSR's time of Iron Curtain with your "less-than-reasonable censoring") I failed to find any martial arts artists amongs enemies lists. Maybe it was because they all escaped, I don't know.

Gas, dart-gun, other "less-than-lethal" armament?

So suppressed weapon was invented just for background check, 200 bucks tax stamp and creating PITA for future owners?

No argues about that.

Rewarding the loyal fans who made Mass Effect 3 possible eh. This has to be a new low when it comes to self entitled, self important bull****, even for BSN. Some people here really are something else.

With the addition of  stuff to attract new fans. I was wondering what can us LOYAL fans who played the first two Mass Effect games can expect as a bonus reward. I don't mean "you can unlock" items I mean when I port my games what bonus items am I going to get. I ask because a lot has been done to attract new fan's eg: Multi-player most LOYAL fans where opposed to, the omni-blade which looks like something from Halo and now an entire hand holding component written into the game JUST for noobs who ignored the first two games. What about us the players who have supported this amaizing franchise since day one. Please just a gun, armour or a casual outfit PLEASE.

Well that would be awesome, but I will enjoy the game reguardless of what I get with it. Though it would be nice if they gave you a guide to the game. I will buy one as I always do with these games. A free one would be nice.

You didn't make anything possible. BioWare owes you NOTHING, no matter how "loyal" you are.

So get off your high horse and just play the game when it comes out.

Thank you guys! You 2 guys are the only people in this thread that make sense. Thanks to you 2 I haven't completely lost hope in humanity.
