Will three +6% spell resistance runes in one weapon provide a 18% bonus?
Having read that damage runes only trigger for main hand weapons, I guess it's a decent idea to put dweomer (or physical resistance for example) runes in the offhand, right? The big question is: do they stack?

Yes, they stack. That is of course how Alistaire has such an easy time of getting to 100%+ magic resistance.
Damage runes only trigger toe the main hand weapon if you are backstabbing, other forms of attack will cause runes from both hands to function properly.
