During the quest Birthright I missed Bethany's amor upgrade. Instead of clicking "take all" I took things one by one because I was running out of inventory space. I then clicked the quest item before the upgrade and it sent me into cutscenes. Is there a way to get back into the manor to obtain the upgrade?

You can use the additem mod, I used it to spawn 2 quest items that didn't spawn and 3 armor upgrades that I forgot to buy from the traders in act 1. (It was my first time playing Dragon Age 2 for longer then 5 minutes still have to start act 3)

Don't use it to add money or xp though as far as I've heard your character gets branded a cheater if you do so, but I can't confirm this.
I can confirm that using it to add quest items and those armor upgrades doesn't brand you a cheater.
Don't include the ".uti" at the end of the line even though that post states so, it doesn't work anymore if you do that since 1.03
