I'm going into post-secondary at NAIT (Technology college in Edmonton) starting in the fall, and I was wondering if anyone with experience or perhaps a BioWare employee could give insight into course selection.
I'm likely taking DMIT ( http://www.nait.ca/p..._home_78110.htm ), and once I have completed it:
Animation Certificate ( http://www.nait.ca/p..._home_72125.htm )
and Game Development Certificate ( http://www.nait.ca/p..._home_47571.htm ).
To note: I have completed up to Computer Science 20 AP in high school, and I have 30 AP in my final semester starting in 2 weeks. My current mark is 87. 30AP is almost entirely Java.
My electives will be design related. I'm intermediate with C++ and Java, but I've never liked coding. I have intermediate experience with photoshop and 3DS Max, and I have begun to play with the game creator program Unity. My passion is level design, and I was hoping I could get some assistance.
Thank you, and I'm sure if you have similar questions they could be answered in the comments.
