 Hello

I writte to ask for some tactical help to impruve Vidinos time in the higher difficulty mode of the game. I play has a soldier and i wish to know what tactic will be the best to achive each game mode in the highest difficulty(of the game not the VI simulation).

For survive mode I thought about having has much fire power has posibole or bring the most powerfull Biotics to make the enemies fly away when they get to close.

I dont have any good ideas for the rest  of the game modes, remember I m going to play it in insanity.

Since i just started this character i have VERY standard equipment so I cannot be texting the game modes properly to develop an strategy my self.

What strategy you recomend me to follow? remember: Soldier class and Insanity difficulty

Greetings.

For a Soldier, it's all about Immunity for 3 minutes in Survival mode. I bring Ash and Wrex to tank this, and it is the easiest mode for the Soldier, the problem is dieing once you have enough time logged, so send the squad to one spot of the map and then move to another, and take off any armor mods to speed up the process.

Time Trial, I've had success bringing Ash and Garrus or Wrex to kill as quickly as possible, if you can take them out before mercs/pirates activate Immunity, you should be okay. And this one could take a few trials to perfect timing, these are hardest because you need to perfect which path you take to maximize your killing speed, so that the enemy does not spam Immunity on you, which can bog you down.

Hunt, again, I like Ash and Garrus to max damage and their dead-eye sniping is needed here for the Mercs. Geth are pretty easy, just be mindful of their melee if you get too close and don't have much invested in Combat Armor or have something solid.

Capture is the second easiest, once you know the capture points in a level. You can basically ignore the enemy in this mode, until you get inside a capture point, where you just need to keep the enemy outside of the circles.

Colossus Armor and Spectre makes it possible to beat this on Insanity, but if you are unfamiliar to the layouts it's gonna take a few tries to perfect your timing.

And you would need to be a higher level with solid mod selection for weapons and Armor.

Frictionless and Inferno is what I've used the most, and then I like the high end, Damage Protection boosting armor mods.

There some other notes on this page, too. masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Pinnacle_Station:_Combat_Missions

Hope this helps.

I would recommend waiting until you level up enough and get better equipment. For the Soldier, it is all about spamming Immunity and running around with your favorite gun, although I prefer Pistol with Master Marksman or the Assault Rifle (or both), since the incredible rate of fire can take down Immunity-spamming enemies quickly, or annoying Geth that replenish their shields or drop down a shield.

* Note: I may have mixed up Hunt with Time Trial in the following suggestions. I apologize if I have made that mistake.

Survival and Capture modes are pretty easy. Even most of the Hunt and Time Trial missions are fairly straightforword on Insanity, although one or two Hunt missions can be a real pain, even with an overpowered Shepard, due to how the time limit works.

There is no real strategy. There are no crates or containers that you need to unlock so you do not need a tech-oriented character in your squad.

For Capture, you should be able to beat the time on your second or third attempt once you know where the capture points are. The times are very generous.

Time Trial is somewhat similar to Capture, except you are trying to kill all enemies around set spawn points. It can take some trial and error to find all the points, but once you know where they are, it is just a matter of trying to reduce your time. I recommend a mid-to-late level character so you have better guns to take enemies down more quickly.

Survival is a joke for most classes, especially Soldier. Wait until you have spammable Immunity and then just run around. I forget what the target times are (about 4-5 minutes at most?), but Soldiers can easily last over an hour until you get bored and let them kill you.

Hunt missions are probably the toughest. Enemies continually spawn, your time continually dwindles, but you gain more time for killing enemies. Most Hunt missions are not that bad, except the Hunt mission on Volcanic if I can remember correctly; that mission is incredibly difficult for some reason. Sometimes you can camp around a good spawn point and absolutely destroy the record. Sometimes enemies spawn far away from you and kill your time. Hunt is more about luck than anything else.

I know waiting will be the best, last time when i did it I was with my very first character lever 60 and not even on the end of the game will have such a power(I wanna have vidinos weapon before that any way)

I will wait to get better equipment and stronger abilities, then I will try it and follow your tips(Both) and have a longer looking to that wiki intel.

I really appreciate such a great posts, very useful, specially in the toughest game modes.

I remember tackling this all with a Vanguard a long long time ago.
Survival mode was about spamming barrier and finding a nice choke, while Time Trial is easy when you kill everything in one well placed shot.
The hardest for me is Hunt - you need to run around to all the enemy spawnpoints.
The final simulation is indeed the hardest - lots of open space. The tactic here is to kill the snipers ASAP then hunker down on the other side of the bridge, but keep mobile.

Soldiers have it the easiest in all of those. Adepts can just spam Singularity and Lift to hell and back - Hunt mode would be challenging though. Probably the hardest are Infiltrator (no good close range weapon, limited disabling), Engineer (light armor, but good shields and decent disabling) and especially Sentinel. (real hard, light armor, pistol only, not the best biotics, lousy shields)

For the last mission, the following strategy works with every class:
1. Bring Ashley and Wrex.
2. Hack turrets.
3. Start mission.
4. Run to a turret.
5. Bunker down by a turret and let the turrets, Wrex, and Ashley kill everything.

Best for Engineers who have no Survivability. Sentinels and Adepts can sometimes also have a tough time here. If you want to, you can run and close the shutter to prevent some enemy spawns.

I consider that cheesing the battle - makes it cheap. My way at least offers some challenge. :)
