Hmmm, to me, it don't look like Vega's feet are bigger than his whole body. So no, no GoW-look to me.

I don't like Gears of War.

I hate MW2.

And yet, I like Vega.

Why?

Because he looks like a promising character.

Anyone that judges him solely on appearance is a douchebag.

That.

Whatever, he appears like an uninteresting character when compared to an Asari justicar, Archangel, Drell Master Assassin, Pure Krogan, Krogan Warlord, Quarian Tech expert, experimental super biotic etc. Never Would I consider wasting space on my ship, with a crew that is supposed to save the galaxy, for some generic marine.

I don't like his body type at all. I like his VA and I'm sure the character has a lot to offer but he'll forever be friend-zoned for all my Sheps. I just can't get past all those muscles and agree with person who said it's same body as Ronnie from Jersey Shore. No, just no.

How do you turn a city into a character? Or do you not understand how to use the ' ?

Out of curiosity, what is your opinion on Ashley?

Or even Shepard, he looks like a generic marine to me.

Narrow mindedness aside, i'm certainly looking forward to using Vega myself. My first playthrough will be as a Soldier and my intention is to only use Ashley and Vega.

Oh look! OP has started another anti-Vega thread. <_<

We get it. You don't like him. He's in the game. So deal with it.

My disappointment in my generation continues. Aren't we supposed to be the open-minded generation? The ones that don't judge a book by it's cover? The ones who are more tolerant and accepting than our supposedly bigoted and closeminded parents and grandparents?

Apparently, only when the subject in question dresses correctly, has the correct haircut and is atheist. If he screws up any one of these he is automatically a dudebro, cod/gow bottom-feeder attracting, steroid injecting ape. Unless the internet and t.v. says he's cool. Then we're all on board.

How about "Vega's character design to be a different look from the other members of the party, none of whom have the "large muscular human" look. Not having everyone look alike in ME3 is considered a good thing by most people."?

Not everything has to do with other video games. Sometimes, a character looks teh way he/she/it does because it makes sense to the character and teh story.

I wonder if some of you people act like this in real life too. "Wow, that guy has got some huge arms. What an ****! I hate him!!"

If i see one more person complaining aboit vega being too dudebro, I think i might flip! Really! He is not there to bring in other crowds. Wait until the game comes out before you make these speculations.

Are you an idiot? That is exactly why he is brought into Mass Effect 3, to help those poor little new-comers. He himself represents the noobs. Noob reincarnate.

Actually Ashley was the ultimate noob on your squad (not as much as tali though) she was a exemplary rookie soldier but never faced any combat until Eden Prime.

Until they make a game called "Mass Effect vs. Gears of War" you really don't have anything to complain about. If you dislike Vega then don't use him or talk to him or anything.

Why complain about a character you havn't even had the chance to use yet?

Play the game first and if you decide you really hate him... keep it to yourself.

Would that not in fact make her and Tali equally nooby, not just almost as much? In fact, she is less experienced than Tali in ME3, having bypassed the whole Collector adventure.

Regardless, the ultimate noob of Shepard's squad ever would have to be Grunt.

I have to admit, everyone in ME so far has been pretty lean.

From what we've seen it doesn't look like we're having a krogan/tank on our squad permanently, only in certain missions. That said it makes sense for Vega to be a bigger guy than the others - visual indication that he can take a beating.

Vega looks like he could punch through a brick wall. I'll take a friend like that in the game as well as in real life!
