Well, I've only read the first page, but hey, there's almost a unified approval of this idea. I'm sure if I peeked into the next page, I'd be disappointed, but that's BSN. I'll throw in my two cents of support for this idea.

Giving money to companies like that puts way too much trust in them. If this doesn't get exploited now it certainly will be in the future.

You have zero guarantee they will develop more than one post-release DLC or if the DLC will even be of decent quality worth paying for. Fact is, they wouldn't even need to make the DLC good because they already have your money.

Gaming companies get away with enough as it is.

You do not have "zero guarantee" because at the time they make the pass available, they always make a list of the scheduled content available too. You will know how many DLCs and what nature they are. Whether it is decent or not, many of us still want the experience of all the DLC anyways.

And the DLC is in development and design before they announce the pass or even see if yanyone will buy it, so they have obvious incentive to make good content. Especially when you consider that a huge portion of the player will use discretion and not buy the pass, meaning a massive portion of their DLC sales are going to rely on those who will willingly buy each piece separately. They need to make it decent if they want any of the content to sell. Some may be hits, some misses, but that doesn't change that many of us would still buy all the ME DLC anyways as fans.

I have bought two season passes for two other games and I don't regret either one. Both had great content and it is ridiculous to think they are going to see how many people they can hook into buying a pass without telling them what content is in it. They tell you what content they will give you and they develop it in the same manner they develop DLC outside of passes because the DLC still has to be available to those who want it outside a pass.

Season Passes under the current model are great and for those who want all the content, it is the best option.

If I could pay for all the DLC at once possibly at slightly discounted rate or just up front for all, I'd do it. I refuse to buy DLC as it comes, but when publishers give me this option, I take it.

I am one of the completionists mentioned earlier in this thread. I have purchased every available DLC for ME1 & 2. If this were offered for ME3, I would buy it in a heartbeat, because if it's not offered, I will be buying all the DLC anyway.

I would easily pay for this. If not for anything else than to support my favourite game developer.
