On replaying ME2 for the run up to ME3's release, I ran into an issue with the Cerberus network and the DLCs.
Upon firing it up, it had trouble logging into the Cerberus network. Apparently Bioware and EA shut it down last year as planned. Now, if I only had the core game itself, this wouldn't be a big deal, as once you activate it, the core game still works even if it can't find a connection.
What I didn't know until I got the error message is that all the DLCs (which I paid for) will not work unless the game connects with the Cerberus network or EA Online to authenticate them each and every time I run the game.
For now, it's just inconvenient, because the game won't automatically login to EA Online. I can still get the game to connect and authenticate by entering my email address and password manually.
So, in the short term, is there any way to force the game to automatically connect and will this annoyance be removed at some point in the future? If I recall correctly, there was originally a plan to do this sort of thing with the main game too, but Bioware opted to compromise with a single authentication on the first install instead of doing every time. Why is it being done with the DLCs?

The Cerberus Network servers were not shut down last year. Only the Cerberus Daily News was.
Also, once you have logged in and authorised the DLC, you dont need to do so again unless you install more DLC, so you dont have to log into Cerberus Network if you dont want to.
But to fix the auto login, make sure that under Extras -> Options -> Online that all login settings are off.
Then, start up the game as administrator, then go back throughm and enable the online options again.

Hi!
I'm sorry if the text is incomprehensible, I translated via Google Translate.
I bought the "Mass Effect 2," EA classic game version, but does not include Cerberus activation code. How can I still get one? I read elsewhere about this issue, and there are said to ask here for help.

THIS is a peer to peer web site with slightly more than zero interaction from anyone working for Bioware. There is no way a group of fellow game players can supply anything missing from a retail package. Official support is EA, and the link to get there is bottom center of the page.
