I'm very annoyed that most of the hairstyles have magically mirrored themselves so that the part is now on the opposite side of the head. Seriously, BioWare, how do you screw that up? All you have to do is OPEN THE PREVIOUS GAMES and look!

Posted Image
ME 2.  Parted on the right side of the skull (the same as it was in ME1, incidentally).

Posted Image
ME 3.  Same hairstyle, parted on the left side of the skull.

WTF, mate.

Did she have any eye makeup before?  I keep noticing how ME3 Shep's tend to lose their eye shadow.

Yup, it was a good bit darker. Most of the makeup options have been muted.

And the part has been bugging me as well but the longer I play with her the more I get used to it. I'm just hoping her auburn hair imports properly into the actual game instead of the light brown shade I changed to red.

To me it looks like - at least judging by CC shots - that upper eyelashes are smaller than lower, which does look weird. Could be just the angle, though.

She looks awesome!

Edit: Yeh, a lot of the femsheps are losing the eye makeup, but Kallen has it here.  So it's in there somewhere.

Yeah - agree with everything you're saying here...  The eye shadow (liner?) above the eye is practically gone now :/

And the new bob >.<  ARGH.  The ME2 bob looks cool; the ME3 one looks really... nicey-neat in comparison - I'll hopefully get used to it though...

I'm having a problem with my Shepard. The identity code is completely different looking from my character. Anyone else have this issue when putting their code into ME3?

Do I have terrible taste in FemShep's or something? No one ever comments on mine.

It's the new CC, it's the right settings, just looks different what with the changes Bioware made to the CC.

That frequently happens in a high-traffic thread.  I guarantee it's nothing personal, stuff just goes by so fast that a lot gets missed.

No, because I tried it in Mass Effect 2 just to make sure. It looked the same as the one I got when I put the code into Mass Effect 3. For some reason, the code doesn't match up with the face. The hair and the skin color are completely different. As in, my Shepard has hair and is white, and the one from the code is bald and black. So somehow, my Shepard's code got swapped with a completely different face.

One thing I've noticed with the makeup is that it differs a lot between complexions.  With complexion 3 (the more textured, freckled one), the eye makeup is sort of smudged and muted.  With complexion 1, the lip and eye makeup are sharper and more like what we're used to from ME1 and ME2.  That's what I noticed while playing around, anyway.

I'm guessing those of us having trouble getting eyeshadow to show up are using complexion 3?

Is that a new eyebrow design, or an updated version of an old one? Cuz those eyebrows are SEXY! B)

And as long as dark eyeliner and eyeshadow is still possible (as shown by ADLegend), I'll be good. My femshep needs her waterproof makeup!!

Thanks! Considering that I have managed to pull only one Shep through the CC I can't say that I would know what others think of her. :D

I wanted to take a deeper look, managed to dig some rather matching ME1 shots.

To be honest, CC shots are always a bit derpy for some reason (lighting?). But anyway, eyebrows should be brown. Now they look black. Also, it looks like the texture quality is worse (eyebrows, lips, skin; especially when compared to ME2, which had better skin textures) than even in ME1 - Sure, not a fair comparison (PC vs. xbox) but still.

It actually looks very similar face structure wise and all. It's clearly the eyes that make the difference. They seem to lack eye shadow completely. Can anyone post the eye shadows? It take time to get used to that but like I've said before, I really need to see her in action. I so try to get flycam to work as soon as I get the demo.

I hope that's not the case, cuz my femshep is always complexion 3.

But I won't be able to play until July (effing crazy, right?). So I hope a new ME3 Gibbed's Editor will arise by then so I can fix that.

Hmmm. /will try this complexion thing. I really am worried about my Shepard's eyes. I don't mind less makeup, but I hate when you can see that flat plain between the eyelash and eyeball. She looks tired.

I've also noticed a lot of the longer hairstyles look a bit inflated, like they don't quite fit on the head the same way.

Did you try changing the eyes entirely?  Aside from the lack of eye shadow, the eyes don't quite look the same shape.  In ME2, some eyes would do this to eye shadow.

Also, you could try creating that Shep new game +'ing that Shep in ME1's and ME2's CCs without any eye shadow and comparing those with the ME3 one too.

Yup, Erin is complexion 3 and all the makeup is muted. I haven't tried any other Sheps so I haven't seen the makeup on the other two complexions.

I'm going to post pictures of what's happened to my Shepard in the MaleShep thread since the Shepard in question is a guy. Hopefully someone can help me figure out what exactly my problem is.

Eyes and mouth are both a different shape.  Don't even get me started on the cheekbones and jawline.

I'm all for improving textures, but not for changing the actual features. Even subtle differences will make the character look like a different person.

So far, I'm seriously unhappy with what I've seen of the CC.  The "improvements" so far will all negatively impact my character... the part in her hair will be mirrored and her mouth will be a different shape.  I doubt she'll even look like the same person.
