Yay for FemShep! This is mine:

I made her for ME3 (PC user, can't play the demo yet ;_;).

PCs rule the world anyway! Posted Image

Great looking afro-asian you have there. Living in a country where we "whities" are outnumbered 40:1 I'm always very critical of any Shepards of african decent. Yours actually looks real.

@RinjiRenee: That's one seriously good-looking Femshep =)

@Kyrene: I'll have to give this question of yours some thought heh.
Top 5 is unkind to alot of Sheps I all equally, though for different reasons, appreciate.
But I'll think about it heh.

Okay General Distress, I don't know how to get the face code. I just tried reimporting my character and it still isn't showing the face code. I know its popped up there before but I have no idea what I did. It seems to be inconsistent when it does and doesn't not show. Maybe someone else knows.

Imported ME1 Sheps never get face codes, if they do it's wrong code. It will show up if you click custom face and then revert back to imported face (but obviously it will be wrong code).

She's currently a WIP, but I'm happy with the direction this is taking. (Too much make up, a little too pale atm)

Not happy with this.  Hopefully a direct import actually looks right >.<

That is one thing I love about PS3 version of Mass Effect 2 is that the facecode is always up and available in the squad upgrade/skill tree screen towards the top of the screen. I tried to get femshep from my ME1 to ME2 playthrough on my Xbox but for the life of me I can't find the damn face code either. This saddens me greatly oh well.

I look at it like this it is one less thing to get spoiled on and one more thing to get excited about.

If I wanted easy 'mis, I could have left the question unasked. There are a Batarian slaver's hold full of iconic femSheps, I agree, but I want the personal top 5 (as I'm sure we're adult enough not to pout if we don't get mentioned, knowing we're in the "Honourable Mention" list; I'm also equally sure that most everyone will get a mention at some time - and that makes people's days I see)

To be perfectly honest, I don't really see the point of a top 5... I mean, a lot of people will have their Sheps on the list over and over again, anyway.

Awesome, do yourself a favour and mirror the ME3 image. It's the hair dude. The rest looks the same to me.

For people with multiple Shepards, is anyone noticing some kind of pattern of how they look in ME3?  I'm finding that some of mine maintain the same 'feel' and generally look like updated versions of their ME2 selves, but others look like different people entirely.  From what I've seen in this thread and putting in my own facecodes, the more generically pretty ones based on the old Jane default don't seem to transfer well, while some of the more unique ones do.

Anyway, besides the obvious changes in hair style, I was wondering if anyone else had messed around with the CC enough to form an opinion of what features translate well and which ones don't.

I agree with this.  I'm noticing a tendency for it to just be a big circle jerk of the same Shepards over and over again, namely the ones from the "inner circle" that formed in the old FemShep thread.  I mean, whatever, it's a free forum so I guess you can post what you want, but it seems... exclusive.  Eh, whatever, not gonna get into that debate again.

Then again, the only Shepards I care about are mine and those of my personal friends.

Sorry, but I gotta ask a technical question here:

I'd like to recreate the appearance of my Femsheps when the demo hits. Unfortunatly the PC version doesn't provide you with the facecode, neither on import, nor ingame. The save game editor is no help either. The field "facecode" is simply empty.

Anyone know how to find the facecode in the PC version? I don't want to build nine Femsheps from scratch.
Thanks!

Did you make them all in ME1? If so, check out this link to extrapolate the facecodes (not hard, just time-consuming).
Didi you create them in ME2, then check the squadpage ingame, it should show you the facecode.
Or use gibbed savegame editor to check out the facecode on the raw tab under player after you load in a save with a shepard you want the code for. But if your shep is not an import shep, it's a roundabout way of doing the first.

Note though you gotta be sure whether the shep's an import or not, because otherwise any facecodes you find in gibbed and/or possibly ingame can be incorrect for them.

Thank you. They are all ME1 imports and their facecodes don't appear anywhere ingame or or upon importing (neither ME1 nor ME2 imports). Gibbed doesn't display any value at all (the field is empty).
I believe the extrapolation method would work but it looks extremely tedious and time consuming.
I think i'll just settle for the new default and some newly created femsheps for the demo. It's just four weeks till the full game and the return of my "ladies" :). We can wait ...

Thanks again!

Nope.  Her face still looks wrong, and her hair still looks like it went from Gina Carano to Shane Dawson.

Then I would suggest taking two Don't Panics and call us again after 3/6/12. It is a demo afterall, as has been cautioned too many times to count by now.

@General Distress: I can do your main (or whichever) for you if you want, but it might take me a bit heh cause I'd not get round to it till tomorrow (monday). Send me a pm if you want. I've done it before, and last quite recently so it'd prolly take me less time.

Well, to be perfectly honest, if you exclude your own top 5, as is your choice, you help to perpetuate that fallacy. And perhaps deprive some of your friends of some well meaning kudos in the face of that so-called "inner circle" you are so leery of. *shrugs*

Telling other people how much we like and support their Shepards is better then being narcissistic and uppity about you're own Shepard.
