Well, since I was getting conflicting reports I decided to check it out for myself. No, no I do not have access to the multiplayer. Kinda sad about that, was really looking forward to trying it. Ah well, the 17th's not that far off.

I am not a huge fan of the hair, to be honest. It looks way too neat and styled. Gonna do a second run with the short curly hair, maybe she'll actually get a haircut after two games.

Anyone else instincively press their pause and flycam buttons?

Glad you asked. I'll download it halfway tonight, coz then my data bundle gives out, and because I'm booked off sick 'till Friday, and my lovely wife (who loves ME and is currently away on business in Ethiopia) only comes home Thursday the earliest I'll get to play it is Friday evening (having downloaded the other gigabyte or so at work on something resembling bandwidth).

I see. After sleeping over the download I realized that I may be in a similar situation - having it ready to play in a few days, I mean. Origin is doing this weird thing logging off all by itself while the download is still going, which does worry me a lot as I can't afford the time to babysit the download at all.

I suppose we'll get the demos when we get them. Have a lovely time with your wife! I'll look forward to seeing your screenshots. x3

Wow! Everyone's Shep's look fantastic! Some of them, Wynne's Shep, Mara, Zody, Hirst, Aki, and a ton more I am forgetting all look great. And a lot of them seem to have translated well.

I think it's going to take some doing to get used to the new classy hair, plus the lack of eyeshadow is a bugger. But all in all she's okay.

Can anyone ask whether we can get a patch for more visible eye liner after launch? That's a really big deal to me. It really helps change eye shape, and the way a face emotes.

Is there no EASY way to get the face code of your Shepard without having to do all that math crap from Gibbed? Old answers on Yahoo or Google say the number is under the Squad screen but that isn't so. *sigh* Only thing I can is recreate to the best I can but it still isn't the same old Mira Shep.

It might be fixed in the actual game, we'll have to see. But ifnot, you can bet your behind the modding community is on the motherf jules.

Not that I know of, there are rumors floating around that sometimes by fluke a reimported ME1 shep from ME2 to ME2 (new game+?) will give you a facecode, but sparce and far between. You can try though.
Converting the raw data into sliders looks daunting, but it's not so bad once you're doing it, just takes some time. Considering the time it takes to get through the intro, you might aswell just convert heh.
I'm anything but a math-genius but with trusty calc in hand, it goes faster every time.

Finally got Diana through the demo (as an Infiltrator, she really misses her sniper rifle) - I think she imported in as well as you can get with just using the facecode, all things considering, but sadly, I lost her deep crystal blue eyes (to be expected, since they were colors all the way from ME1).

While waiting for the demo to come out (and then waiting a few hours to download it) I decided to play Roslyn through ME1 and finished her game. I now only have Octavia left to go with ME1 and then I'll be playing all 5 of my femsheps in ME2 hopefully having them ready when the real game arrives on the 6th. Since all my girls are from ME1 (and I don't have the patience to figure out the code with the method meantioned above) I'll just have to wait until the game comes out to see what my girls will look like.
