And wow, Eshaye and JECWSU, Celyn and Elizabeth look great!

Sorry, please correct me if I am wrong, why does your femshep look so alike to ElE's Teagen?
Here's is Teagen's picture:

Hah, I don't know which would be worse -- waiting for the game to come out or getting the game early and not being able to openly share your squee until everyone else in the thread gets their hands on the game, too. =p

(A common spelling error leads me to pun. Or that's my story and I'm sticking to it.)

Remember folks, your "main" Shepard is your canon Shepard. A cannon Shepard is something like this:

Now that I've finally had a chance to play the ME3 Demo (thanks work! Image IPB) Thought I'd share a couple of my FemSheps and how they converted over from ME1.

I'm gradually working my way through all of them but it's a bit of a process so here are the two I've done so far Image IPB

Quick question for anyone that knows (I've been out of the loop): Any rough ideas on how much time passed between end of ME2 and start of ME3? Like it was two years between ME1 and 2. I just wasn't sure if it was a mere matter of months this time.

It's 6 months to a year, iirc. I think it was Jesse Houston who addressed it in one of their Q&As.

@Kyrene from many pages back: Aha. I do see what you mean with the nose. I don't remember Scully herself, but I remember X-Files at least. xD

I'm still trying to get used to the new look for ME3. I thought ME1 to ME2 was a bit off, but ME3 really looks different to me. It's only when Kyrie looks angry that she begins to look like her old self.

Well for what it's worth I think i like the ME3 version best?

I'm also finding the change hard to get used to.  They don't look worse, and the more I see them in action, the more I like the ME3 versions... but they're still different.

Examples (sorry for the crap quality):
Delta in ME2:

I do appreciate the addition of another blonde hair option, though.  They found a nice middle ground between the pale, pale blonde and the caramel blonde/brown.

Delta looks good in ME3. Also,  I think that's my fav hairstyle now out of all the news ones and retooled old ones. And you are right, the other blonde option is a nice change of pace.

Well, I decided to redo Allison in the demo again..as I said with Alicia being that they share facecodes in ME 2( with a few differences - hairstyle, hair color, eye color, allison is using devon's textures( ty ele for making them and eshaye for posting the link), I figured out what was wrong with her import as far as complexion goes( but I edited a few other things I didn't notice before...so Allison has gone from this...

I just ran a test - put in face code for kyrie (approx. recrated in me2) and the lightest hair reads on the face code as 8. #1 (used to be the lightest) is the 2nd option. so it seems that first blonde is actually *not* the original blonde. interesting, no?

There was some strangeness. I input the facecode for one of my Femsheps w/red eyebrows and they showed up as green in the demo CC.

I'm also noting that there is some serious brow/eye clipping going on. But I saw rumors somewhere...twitter?...that the game CC has some significant differences.

I feel like when the game comes out, those issues will fixed (or atleast addressed in a patch) because when I played the demo they had ready in December, it's come quite a ways from then. Little issues to bigger significant issues were done much more elegantly in this demo.

****.. i forgot how bad ME graphics were .. is it that bad or its just my graphic card?

Bad graphics or not, she is stunning. I'm thinking she's gonna be even better looking in ME3. And you need to speak with Tup3xi about what INI settings to change for ME1, perhaps PM him.

Just do a Google Image search for Gillian Anderson (the actress). You'll see what I mean.

General question (as I value the opinions of the more mature members of this thread more than the unwashed masses elsewhere on BSN):

Is Arrival worth getting as DLC apart from its aparent canonicity (had to spell that correctly, eh, Sinapus)? In principle, I'm against paying for DLC, but see both LotSB and Arrival as what used to be game expansions. I'm not interested in LotSB (due to Liara) so no need to sell me on that. Just tell me the pros and cons of Arrival.

Pros:
A very cool jaunt through vaccuum at the end.
You get to meet Hackett, finally.

Cons:
It's short.  Very, very short.
It's predictable.
Dialogue choices are nearly nonexistent.
You have no squad.
You're railroaded through the whole thing and will think Shepard's about as sharp as a sack of wet kittens for going along with it, since it's fricking obvious the entire thing is a setup.
Harbinger appears via hologram, somehow, and again taunts you in a petty, un-machine-like fashion, trying and failing as usual to live up to Sovereign's example.
Hackett turns out to be a re-skinned Zaeed.

Re: ME DLC

If you like the ME series enough, you can viably buy everything.
I know that's not much help, but if you're anything like me, you'll enjoy every one of them enough to justify the cost. And in therms of ME, anything extra story-related I just WANT.

All of the DLC have pro's and con's, people that'll shout you should or shouldn't get it. Not much to go off, just go with your gut and if you really wanna try it, just get it.

To add something vague, I quite liked the sense of urgency to it, forced upon Shep when she wakes up.
