Is Arrival worth getting as DLC apart from its aparent canonicity (had to spell that correctly, eh, Sinapus)? In principle, I'm against paying for DLC, but see both LotSB and Arrival as what used to be game expansions. I'm not interested in LotSB (due to Liara) so no need to sell me on that. Just tell me the pros and cons of Arrival.
Pros:
A very cool jaunt through vaccuum at the end.
You get to meet Hackett, finally.
Cons:
It's short. Very, very short.
It's predictable.
Dialogue choices are nearly nonexistent.
You have no squad.
You're railroaded through the whole thing and will think Shepard's about as sharp as a sack of wet kittens for going along with it, since it's
fricking obvious the entire thing is a setup.
Harbinger appears via hologram, somehow, and again taunts you in a petty, un-machine-like fashion, trying and failing as usual to live up to Sovereign's example.
Hackett turns out to be a re-skinned Zaeed.
