What are you gonna do mass effect wise from now until March 6? Finish a canon playthrough? Alt playthrough? Play Demo SP? MP? Or gonna wait until Mar6 to brush of the console/PC again?

Trying to finish Ashley VS ME2 run. I haven't yet tried ME3 MP but I will soon.

EDIT: Top? Okay, here goes... more than one.

In this light Shep's skin lacks definition almost completely for some reason. Somewhat mixed feelings about the new light system.

And wow, Eshaye and JECWSU, Celyn and Elizabeth look great!

Sorry, please correct me if I am wrong, why does your femshep look so alike to ElE's Teagen?
Here's is Teagen's picture:

Please look at her fingers and compare to Dissimilitude's femshep...:bandit:

Thank you. I swore I was looking at Teagan. Glad I'm not the only one doing double takes. Image IPB

yay to hear so much MP.

I feel like saying, "My name is Sage. I'm playing as a dude until I can unlock human female adept, and I use Singularity on EVERYTHING."

Seriously, I think I tossed as much singularities as I did bullets. Also, I made the most kills by a long shot. We'll see if that continues when my hubby gets up to practice. B)

I have a question about head morphs... I know I've seen methods for this discussed around the forums, but I was trying to figure out how to translate a head morph on the xbox 360 into a code (without modding your xbox to get to the underlying files).

I wanted to recreate my very first femshep from ME1 on the xbox 360 on my PC versions of the games. I've kind of successfully rebuilt my other two main femsheps just by matching her up, but this one first one I wanted to try and get exactly. I have her morphed into ME2 on the xbox already. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I used Gibbed Coalesced.bin to JSON converter, made the changes and then packed it to .bin again with the same tool. Same commands work as in ME2.

Here's the edited Coalesced.bin with conversation, cinematics key maps (normal mode too). Numpad1 freezes the game, Numpad2 toggles flycam and Numpad3 toggles HUD.

where do we put the coalesced.ini ?
After I started the Demo I couldn't find a coalesced.ini anywhere... though I might have been too blind to see it xD

If you can transfer a savefile onto a PC, which you';d have to to get a headmorph, you can extrapolate slider values out of gibbed. All the data is stored in the savefile. You just need a calculator to convert the raw data back to slider-positions.
Explained here.

Do you know why I love you? Obviously also because you found a way into the bin to change things, it's because you use the exact numpad keys I do <3

Mass Effect 3 Demo\\BIOGame\\CookedPCConsole and it's .bin nowadays.

Everything Sage said, also, the mech bit was fun =)
I've also always been a sucker for those inevitable happenings, specially coupled with great disaster. As much as you try, you are forced this way because there is no option. No happy outcome.
I also much appreciated the blind trust Hackett shows in Shep, once again. Honestly, it made me like him even more, if that was even possible.

Well said.

I think sometimes in all of our RPG sophistication, we sometimes over think things. Arrival and LOTSB were fricken FUN. I have no trouble suspending some disbelief when I'm getting a game of this quality.

If I wasn't ready to suspend some disbelief, I probably would have turned the game off when that puny 3 man squad made it off Eden Prime alive.

That said, I love the line about Shepard being sharp as a bag of wet kittens. Image IPB

When I was browsing around BSN I saw a graphic and lightning comparison between the demo and the final product version, which is used in the "trailers" and they look totally different, hopfully if that guy is right, then the final version look awesome..I'll try to find the ss

I'm doing all of the above between now and release. Polishing the ME2 ending so everyone survives, replaying the ME3 demo, messing around with the CC, experimenting with different classes, even going back to ME1 to finish my Insanity play through.

I forget who it was but someone here said that if you haven't played Vanguard then you haven't played the best Mass Effect has to offer, which struck me because Vanguard was the penultimate class I considered playing, with Sentinel being the last. My main character, June, has always been Infiltrator with my quick-and-dirty no-BS Renegade second character, July, as Soldier. I thought of Adept as maybe a fun toy-class to play later on and I started a blonde Engineer, Jill, on Insanity for the challenge and blonde femshep pride oh so needed after that silly FB vote. Well, what better chance to try out Vanguard than in the ME3 demo. So here she is:

Image IPB
Image IPB

Her face is based on an old clone I made of June called "January," who has the same facial architecture except for the lips, eyebrows, complexion, hairstyle and makeup of default Jane. I never took her anywhere and actually forgot she existed, plus she wasn't a Vanguard anyway. As I brought her into ME3 I gave her darker eyes, a much smaller nose, and that awesome hair color, all of which ME3 necessitates. This game needs some color! So she's different enough to be a new creation – let's call her "May." :) She's a Vanguard who can and will charge you in the nuts, if you get in her way.

The demo is definitely quite old build. It was built around one month ago so it's definitely not final. If the final looks better then that's good news.

I'm always sceptical about trailer graphics but I have to say that Shep's clothes do not look any better in that shot... In fact, they look worse. O_o

Thanks for the link, QwibQwib. Definitely saw the improvement in before/after photo.

As what I'm going to do between now and March 6th, probably continue to play SWTOR with my husband when we have time in the evenings. Maybe run through the demo a few more times in excitement. I spent the last couple of days going through every single hairstyle to see if it fit my canon's personality. Oh, yeah, the hairstyles even had to fill out questionnaires on why they'd be a good match for her! =p I thought the ponytail would be the winner, but when I tried on the long hair style, it just really seemed to fit. The behind the ear tuck and it just generally being out of the face.

I had finalized my canon's look with black hair and some rocking black lipstick for some attitude (since it wasn't bleached anymore). Oh, man, this was gonna be GREAT. My four year old comes over, looks at my screenshots in Photoshop, and shakes his head no, he wanted yellow. What? You like yellow better? Yes, he says. Fortunately, the blonde version was my second choice. So I have until March 6th to decide between the two looks.

Images of my Joan through the games:

Decisions, decisions! I really like them both. I see the benefit of keeping her look the same throughout, but I also dig the RP aspect of going back to roots and the black lipstick adds intensity. On the other hand, I've been saying that the blonde is my female Duke Nukem. Arrgh. This is hard. =p

You're very welcome, well, if you want an opinion i oculd offer mine >.<

I love both too, but it all depends on her personality, if shes going badass, i'd go with the black hair/lipstick.
I like her natural beauty, no makeup. :D that's what i usually prefer, unless I want my Femshep to go seductive....muahha.

Definitely more "soft around the edges" than before and all that fat apparently moved to certain body parts. Bewbs and booty.
