So a friend of mine just shared this with me. Why Mass Effect is the Most Important Science Fiction Universe of Our Generation. It was also linked on IO9.
ha! double linky.
that was an exceptionally good read. i think the author had a really excellent point. why DO you keep fighting? food for ME3 thought.
Wow, that is a wonderful article! Just about perfectly describes why I fell in love with the series in the first place.

I felt a little bit like I could make my own Janeway, and that was awesome!

Indeed. Even Shepard can't help but look

Damn, that thing does look good. And big.
Oh wow, she really did get dat ass! She's going to give Miranda a run for her money, wow, I'm entranced by the glory that is Shepard's posterior [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/love.png[/smilie]
*lmao* I'm thinking of Anderson right now--When he said "soft around the edges", she was patting the wrong side!

Scientific explanation: the Lazarus Project also redirected Shepard's natural body fat distribution process to CERTAIN areas of the body.
It seems to be working. [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/cool.png[/smilie]
You know, from what I've read, that's actually healthy. Fatty tissues in the posterior seem to absorb the bad stuff and keep it from settling near the heart or other vital organs.
License to give FemShep a fine booty, approved!

In other news, I think I like her:

The only thing I like a little bit less is that she looks younger than I'd expected even with complexion 2. Ah, well... I still like her. I think bald ladies are awesome... *gazes fondly at Jack*
