And in other news...

...a big thanks to Ottemis  for babysitting my useless soldier in MP last night. And a thanks to whomever  was in that last game/s I was in too. Gods it was horrible, and terrible, and painful and awesome at the same time. So please forgive me if I didn't take any notice of who it was, or how many times I was rezzed or what, and not rezzing in return. I've never played any shooter MP before, and I couldn't get my hotkeys figured out before each wave and was way too low a level and a soldier with crappy guns and totally unfamiliar with the new powers and frag grenades suck and so does adrenaline rush it seems and I'll stop making excuses now.

That little while where I was able to give surpressing fire alone outside while you guys were inside killing stuff was the highlight and actually made me see the potential. Glad I could cover your sixes just a little bit.  So the EU crowd, count me in for MP once the real game hits and I've become more familiar with playing either soldier or infiltrator (I'd be even worse with the other four classes). For now it's just too painful to be much fun.

@Ottemis: Laire looks great with the face texture you created. Not that she didn't look great before of course. Girl needs to work on her hand eye coordination though it seems.

@Red: Yay, your t-shirt and medal arrived. It looks cool. And I'm glad you like what I did with your drawing.

@Kyrene: Doesn't matter if you're not very good at the MP. As long as you're having fun, that's all that matters. I'm in the EU, so if you want to add me to Origin for some games it's Akari_NM.

@Raziel1980 & SaturnRing: A little slow, but thank you for your comments about Hrist a few pages back.

Also I only just noticed but, Raziel? You couldn't be a Legacy of Kain fan by any chance would you?

I am... very much so, as a matter of fact, most people pick up on the name from the anne rice books( which I never read)...but when it comes to legacy of kain...especially defiance...that was my type of games back when I was high school...

Ohh and Akari... I will add you to my origin for MP when I get hoem from work as well...that should be fun, playing with you guys( definetely had fun playing with ottemis and silver last night).

So, tangentially related, but the folks on this thread and at femshep.com rock. seriously.

i am SO tired today, because I stayed up too late playing MP, but I couldn't stop. Got into a fantastic party, which so often happens when I'm playing with people here. Even if not everyone is used to MP yet, everyone is so nice and considerate. It makes it a joy to play.

Also, my party last night was - I realized when voice chat came on - entirely comprised of women. We were rocking, too. I was just so full of girl-gamer pride at that moment. Four ladies running around going 'NIce JOB!" and "Oh, thanks for rezzing me" and "Yeah, I'm really wanting the Widow, but the Mantis is a good second."

Just awesome. Wanted to hold the MP session up to the world and go "Look at these women kick a**!"

Twas fun.

I was in a game with her and Akari the other day and I swear to god, I shoot something just to see it get headshotted or biotic exploded to sh*t and go 'ohh..damn' haha.

I actually haven't had a chance to play MP yet. and today is homework day, so not mass Effect anything until it's done. lol
