I know, right?! I saved Samara's loyalty mission for last because I HATED not being able to have the option to pick Morinth. Not that I would -- just didn't want the game taking the choice away just because it wasn't high enough, y'know? Even though my score is maxed due DLCs that came later, I still struggled for the most part. As far as I remember, two renegade choices that I couldn't unlock to in time were 1) Legion and Tali's quarrel, which wasn't really a big deal and 2) renegade dialogue with Tela Vasir (asari spectre) in Shadow Broker. I was forced to either drop my thermal clips or wound the hostage. That really bugged me because I wanted to know what Shepard said in the renegade option! =p

Edit: recycling an old image for top. I haven't had a chance to play with flycam in demo yet.

All I have to say... GOOD LORD Woman... you got some talent with that character creator...they all look great and to me look better with each passing game!

@Gilsa... I see, we play the game the sameway...it seems. :D

edit: I will post a screenshot of Allison getting that renegade dialog with Tala Vasir...as those are some of the most badass lines in the game( the ones she says the to Quarian Admirals is pretty awesome as well)

I finished Quinn's ME2 run. It was the first time I had a chance to play the overlord dlc, wow, that was really creepy.

Actually, for Samara questline, someone mentioned that the sooner you do, the easier it is, be cause the game calculated from UP TO THAT POINT of morality percentage from your game progression. So, it was kinda first or second quest I did, And I could do it without even reaching higher than 75% of Renegade or Paragon bar.

Speaking of MP, just saw this by Patrick Weekes. "ME3 has a lot of female fans. Some may play MP with you. Take it as a chance to prove that our fans are friendly cool folks."
https://twitter.com/...158235309113345

heh, saw that.

i'm going to assume that was meant for mouth-breathing troglodytes to be nice to us girl players?  i appreciate the nod to us girl gamers, but
the females ARE the fans, so we don't need anyone to prove that the fans are friendly.

but i think i get what he was saying. as for myself, 1) i ignore internet morons, male or female and if people are mean, i won't grace their games with my company and 2) that was clearly not aimed at the people i play with - namely, you guys. so far, mp has been great.

Something someone tweeted to me.  Not exactly femshep related, but close enough.

Some Words About a Game. A good read about a girl and her passion for video games.

very cool post. thanks for sharing

That was a nice read.    Girl gamers are increasing and having protangonists like FemShep is always a great entry point for them.   Still theres a middle ground.  Some people are damn insulting where as others are in awe and are on worship mode which is really creepy.   Just treat gals as your gaming equal and you will get on fine, they are here to play games as well just like you.

This is what has always put me off shooter-style MP in the past - in my previous experience a lot of people are just downright nasty when you mess up, even if it's the first time you've played and you have no idea what you're doing. I'm not as thick skinned as I'd like, so after a few attempts I just give up trying.

Dipping my toes in with ME3, though...it's the people that you play with who make the experience, for sure. All the games I've played with people from this thread have been great. Last night was particularly awesome - Sage, Silver and Grimm taking my level 2 Sentinel along in silver challenge mode, thank you! - and I'm getting comfortable enough to stop worrying so much about getting it "wrong" and just learn at my own pace from playing and watching others. So yeah...femshep fans rock Posted Image

With regards to renegades, there are some really great lines and moments in both games with the renegade options and dialogue. Just because you're playing a renegade though, it doesn't mean you have to always pick the bottom right, or left options from the dialogue wheel, or hit the renegaqde interupt everytime the icon appears. Just like always picking paragon options can make Shepard look naive and overly trusting, only picking rengade options will make her look a touch unhinged.

Mix things up and take the renegade line/option when it seems appropriate and like wise with the paragon options, but don't feel like the red option is the only choice. Renegade doesn't always mean Shepard murders kittens or clubs bay seals while cackling maniacally.

They all look great, Ais, but I have to say that Mac looks all kinds of awesome in ME3. Not that she didn't look awesome before of course. :)

I personally don't like playing against people (I haven't even tried PvP in SW:TOR for example). I do like playing with them, completing objectives with other people and to achieve something together.

I have tried PvP in TOR Tup, and believe it's a pain in the ass... I like the group flashpoints and storyline/class quests in the PvE enviroments myself. :D

Heh, a story would be hard since I started her with a new ME2 game (no imports) so everyone important is automatically dead. When there wasn't a Cerebus angle to play, I would make decisions I hadn't done in other games "just to see" such as getting Tali exiled via sharing evidence about her father.

I glanced at my screenshots quickly to remind myself of any other renegade choices that were decent:
- shooting video screen to get Veector's attention. Just a monitor, no big deal. =p
- At the end of ME1, when it came down to picking between Uldinna and Anderson to lead, I said, "I don't care" and walked away. Still had to pick between one of them at the start of ME2 so I picked Uldinna. Felt good being dick to him no matter what, heh. Wasn't like he was going to do me any favors anyway.
- Pretty sure I got points for agreeing with Mordin about the genophange even though I told him to keep the data in case.
- Renegade with the looters in the apartment (Mordin recruitment). Told them stealing from the dead was pretty low.
- Omega: Renegade with the batarian punks in the hallway. They had a gun and got aggressive. Nothing mean about pulling a gun right back on them because you are making sure they know not to start something with you.
- Omega (Mordin recruit): When you find the "sick" krogan and go renegade, you are like a drill sergeant telling him to man up, that krogans don't lie down and take it. Tough, but you are taking this option because you care. To leave him behind would be worse.
- Renegade conversation at the party (Kasumi mission) with Donovan Hock is pretty civilized. Easy points for just chit chatting.
- When you are at the citadel, you are merely driving a hard bargain with retailers by asking for discounts. I've always felt the paragon option was more hypocritical if you did that at more than one store since they can't ALL be your favorite store. Much more honest and upfront to just haggle. Avoid renegade at gift shop though. I was so shocked at how that turned out. =p
- When you see the wounded merc on Grunt's recruitment mission, renegade is merely instructing the guy to give bad directions or he'll have problems. The really dick move would be to ignore both paragon/renegade dialogue, allow him to radio the other team, and then take the renegade choice to shoot him. (It makes me laugh though.)
- Renegade with the reporter about the battle is not allowing her to disrespect the dead. Dick is punching her, heh.
- Tali is still impressed if you go renegade at her trial because it's so passionate and you are basically saying how dare you spring her father's death on her like this, what's wrong with you people.

I talked tough with Jack and Grunt because that was essentially the language they understood and appreciated. I was just tired of Jack's attitude and she even turned around and said she liked that I was telling her to grow up. Pretty sure I got small renegade points as I went along. Even when there's a poker game with the crew, renegade is "remember I'm the boss" and I'd win the card game. It played out like I was bluffing by trying to intimidate them and they had a laugh anyway.

Hope all that helps to lessen any apprehension about picking renegade lines. It's not all bad. ;)

Just reading this...you made smile xD! what about um the rachni, the geth and the base? did you give it to Cerberus?

Agree, this shot show the care that is put to create all our custom femshep. There isn't a single femshep that i've seen on this thread that i didn't like: they're all unique and uniquely beautiful.
