@Jamie That's actually a good idea. Is that color available in vanilla ME or do you have to mod? If you're modding, I'd suggest you add more dark hair--if that's possible--to make the graying look more natural.

It is in vanilla game.  I already had her go a little grey (also in vanilla game).

This works a lot better, I think.  Instead of just looking like a low-quality texture, the way the previous hairstyles did, this actually looks like a black-haired woman going grey.

Yeah, I guess you are right.  I loved how she looked w/ the very grey hair, but this makes more sense.  Thanks!

@Demonhoopa: journal entries 1 & 2 - That's what we live for!!! Awesome!

*just saw the third. Cool!

Thanks friend.

Awhile back I posted that I made a new character to play all the way through to ME3 (hopefully finishing ME2 shortly before midnight on a certain date).

Last night I decided to write journals for the character and post them here. But since I'm 6 horus or so into the game, I had a backlog of events. I just now finished writing Journal 4 so I'm current. So after today, the Femshep community wont' have to put up with me SPAMMING the thread with journals. It will just be a journal here and there.

Posted Image

I might just start puting it down on paper too; even if i don't post it...Shepard psyche's like an encyclopedia.

Oh, you're telling me.

I think that given the available backgrounds it's hard to put together a Shepard that is NOT seriously damaged in some way.

I know Jessica has issues the size of the entire Skyllian Verge.

"Call me crazy again and you'll be pickin' your teeth up off the floor."

I know, right! I wouldn't know where to start. And Shepard turned up pretty good considering what she's been through. But sometimes i'm like screw that; i'm not gonna take this, and things get ugly. Just like Jessica, Harkin brings the worse out of my Deirdre.

@Demonhoopa: I'll try to post it!

>picsnip<

I finished Jessica's pre-ME3 run last night, too.  It was 100% complete, but not 100% perfect.  For example...

She lost her temper with Verner and nearly force-fed him her pistol.
She shot the Tenth Street Red in cold blood during the backstory mission.  The idiot had no idea just how much she hates and despises her early life and anything that reminds her of it.
She didn't talk fast enough and Toombs shot the scientist, then himself.
On Asteroid X57, Balak died, but so did the hostages.
She barreled straight through to the objective on Virmire, missing the airbase.  Kirrahe died as a result.
Even though she cared for Ashley much more than Kaidan, she followed protocol and saved the higher-ranking officer and the salarian fire team, a choice she regrets bitterly now and will regret even more bitterly in the future.

On the other hand, she:
Saved all the colonists on Feros.
Saved Shiala.
Saved the rachni queen.
Saved the Destiny Ascension and the Council (although she made that decision based on the 10,000 other asari crewing it, she doesn't give a crap about politicians).
Chose Anderson as the human Councillor (because she admires Anderson, loathes Udina, and, again, she doesn't give a crap about politicians).

So she did the big stuff right, but it's the little things that come back to her and haunt her sack time.

i almost wish you could mod it somehow to give UJ her streak of white hair in the front like you have for her other incarnations. THAT would be way cool.

OH DAYUM. I burst out laughing at that. What a great line. That's half of why I love the renegade -- the snarky lines. This was just beautiful. (I can almost picture Liara whipping her head around with a "HEY NOW" look.) Did Shepard follow through with killing the hostage or was that just tough talk? Thanks for the screenshots! <3

I love the MakoPosted Image ( so much history )...i just don't like to drive itPosted Image. It looks nice and pretty in the SR 1 lower level...or when somebody else is driving it ( in the trailer ).

Maybe by the time we're gearing up for our second and third playthroughs (you know it's gonna happen), there will be a mod that can give you cool salt and pepper streaks in your hair and you can run with that, too. =p

With the renegade option does Shepard kill the hostage or just shoot her in the shoulder?

If you have enough renegade, she bluffed with sth like 'did you forget i'm a spectre too?', Vasir got distracted and Liara hit her with a table. ( I think it's the same table with Paragon) But if you don't have enough points then Paragon-> lose heat sink = no ammo, Renegade = shoot hostage. Hostage cried 'My Arm!!' Shepard 'You'll live.'

One of the things I liked about LoTSB was that it was one of the few times that Shepard's lack of spectre status got acknowledged. Upon the first meeting, she'd say, "I heard you weren't reinstated. Too bad -- you did good work." And then later on, when I had to choose between dropping thermal clips or wounding the hostage (I chose the latter), the conversation went like this:

Shepard: "Smart move, taking a hostage. A spectre does whatever it takes to get the job done."
Tela Vasir: "Yes, we do."
Shepard: "But you're forgetting something, Vasir -- I was a spectre, too." [Shoots hostage.]

Liara actually does give Shepard a funny look, and I think theres an option to apologize to her as well.

Liara actually does whip around slightly and look at you when you make the first comment of the renegade lines...

I fired up ME1 and quickly did the intro again to grab some screenshots for comparison.

Yeah, her hair gets progressively longer in each game(I would've stuck with classy in ME3 but it looked really off on her and I'm not a fan of the other ones).

I guess her new look in each game fits her character transformation over the trilogy; she started out as a full renegade in ME1 (Ruthless/Earthborn but her past is just as tragic as that of Colonist Shepard) but dying at the start of ME2 really opened her eyes. She becomes a little more compassionate and mature as a result and as the events of ME2 unfold. She doesn't let Garrus kill Sidonis, tells Miranda to go talk to her sister etc. By the end of LotSB she realizes that she actually cares for Liara and can't bear to lose her. Also, saving each and every crew member in ME2 was a way to redeem herself for what happened on Torfan. Her new found compassion is also evident in the scene with the boy in the duct and her reaction to when he dies.
