She's earthborn - sole survivor. LI Kaidan.

I'd say in ME1 she's fully bought into the idea of being an upstanding citizen. Escaped a life of crime on earth...blah blah blah...is now an Alliance Commander. Your standard bootstraps success story.

ME2 she's in a steady slide back into 'old ways' in a sense. She tried doing all the right things before, by the book, the proper way, and she still got screwed. Lost everything. Was abandoned by those she had faith in. Is thrust back into the same kind of environment she grew up in, dealing with the same kind of lawless criminal types.

So she reverts to a more renegade path, which is how I see my pre-Alliance earthborn Shep, YMMV. She really embraced that life before enlisting (compelled by traumatic events, but that's another story.)

I have no idea what I'm gonna do when I finally play the game.

I love the new FemShep design, but I've grown so accustomed to my custom FemShep. Not sure if I can change it now without feeling... weird.

Then again, I could always wait and use another playthrough as that Shepard look, and stay faithful to Ashley-- even though she wasn't comfortable being gay in the first game. My Shep can forgive her for being silly like that.

Yeah I really enjoyed playing her in the Demo as well and want to have a playthrough with her now.  Cant sacrifice the design of any of my other FemSheps though.  Looks like its going to be yet another playthrough!

I love how you both describe your character's progression. My character evolved a little bit like RainyDayLover Shepard did. Her past made her see things through a renegade lense; almost witnessing Ash team being completely wiped out has triggered the first step toward seeking redemption. Then talking to Talitha reinforced that desire. Various stories of loss and survival impacted her in a similar way.By the end of ME 1 she is barely renegon (don't like that term) - subject to change. The beginning of ME2 plunge Deirdre back into the old ways; TIM, Cerberus, the Collector...and her renegade auto-defense mechanism. (re)Discovering her teammates and the stories behind them, broke that cycle once more as she came to love her entire crew just like in the first ME. By the end of ME 2 she's evenly split renegade/paragon. Emotions triggered by the Reapers killing humans, will prove to be the first test of that new found resolve.

I keep dieing.   Shes already been quoted 10 times and each time seems better then the last!!  


Were full of praise when it comes to our lovely ele.  With good reason though!  She produces vast amounts of awesomeness!!
