If you listen to Miranda and Wilsons audio entries in the prologue Miranda mentions they've gon with biosynthetic fusion. SHepard has cybernetics inside their body and that's what David tapped into to make Shepard understand what was going on at Project Overlord.

If it was that easy for David, I do wonder why Reapers don't take advantage of that weakness.

Shepard was linked into david through the network so it was like hooking two computers together and then one computer changing the settins on another one. Shepard would most likely have to be linked to a reaper for that to happen.

I have to say that Kenson was extremely stupid. She could have done all kinds of stuff (including that, let alone killing Shepard) to Shepard but no...

HArbinger wouldn't let her. I think after all the trouble Shepard's caused, killing sovereign, stopping the collectors orm building a replacement and attempting to blow up the relay, then suceeding, he's probbably want to use Shepard as a will breaker for Organics. It'd be curshing to see Shepard working for the Reapers because sHepard was the only one who could stop them.

Yeah... It's the The Phantom Blot vs. Mickey Mouse situation. Kinda. Brainwashed Shepard would have been something or maybe it just wanted to huskify her by itself. Still a bit unmachinery thing to do but still.

The animation (brief as it was in the clip) reminded me of the run in SWTOR before you get sprint. It looked silly on my female trooper, I sure didn't want it for FemShep too. Doesn't really suit my tomboy Sheps, but at least it doesn't look to be as bad as LadyHawke's.

And this is kind of off-topic (well, it does concern one of my FemSheps), but since this thread has pretty TexMod savvy people I thought I'd ask... I've been trying to get my texmods working in the demo, and I'm thinking the normal maps are the ones giving me trouble. Why does this happen again? It's supposed to be a blend of Ash's + 3rd complexion maps, but it's sort of shiny and shaded all wrong, plus the visible edges. Works fine in the previous two games though - it's been ages since I fiddled with the face textures and I can't remember if I know how to fix it.  Already tried saving it as DXT1, 3 and 5 but to no avail.

Sorry for the crappy photo, I can't get Fraps to work in the demo, at least while using Texmod.

Working on a new face for a possible FemShep that I'm concepting (an Adept Paragade with a Colonist Ruthless background, maybe call her Rachel), using the CC in the ME3 Demo and references from a few faces found on the ME2 Faces Database:









I like how she turned out, but as for the character herself, I'm not sure how exactly I'm gonna create her (I'm honestly a little burned out on ME2 as it is right now, plus there's frankly no way in heck that I'm gonna slog through ME1 and its clunky combat yet again...  ).

Perhaps I'll use her as a "new" Shepard in ME3, since it'll give me a chance to see how the dialogue and events of the game differ from an imported Shepard. (or if I do create her in one of the previous games, maybe I'll start a new ME2 game and then just Gibbed the heck out of it so her ME1 background is what I want)

My only earthborn - Velina happens to born in Vancouver, seeing her hometown being destroyed in front of her eyes are a feeling that no word can described. She's more like a survivor than a warrior, the miseries in her childhood, the story of how she gets her name, these things has strengthen her will but also leave a weakness in a certain matter. There is a plan in her mind which never reveal to anyone, which is something she ultimately want to do before she may pass away not long after this war. 

I will have to see how ME3 will turn out and then to decide the final chapter of her story, lets hope she survives as I role play her in ME3.

Ottemis is one fine artist, she did this awhile ago for me

Oooh, I like this question!

Becca is from Brooklyn, NY too (*waves to Moira*) and in her ME-verse the 10th Street Reds were mostly Irish. 'Bec' is an Irish Gaelic name meaning 'little one' - she used to be small and skinny, which was good for her as people assumed she was younger than she really was. She dyed her hair an artificial shade of red and claimed it was because of the gang's name - the actual intention was to disguise the fact she was a natural redhead, as she realised early on that being known to have such a rare genetic trait was unlikely to end well for her. After catching part of a recruitment vid whilst on a mass transit, she realised that the "weird sh*t" that she sometimes did was probable biotic potential and she finally had a ticket out. Unfortunately one of the other gang members realised the same and ratted on her - she was badly beaten and left for dead with her face slashed open, but managed to drag herself to the nearest recruiting centre. Not surprisingly, she's been left with serious trust issues and a tendency to shoot first and ask questions later.

Leila's backstory is nothing like so developed as Becca's or Aki's, but she is of Arabian descent so I imagine her to have come from a very poor background somewhere in the Lebanon/Syria/Iran region.

If that were the case, you could see the Earth through the image of Shepard.  You can't, so I'm not sure how to explain this.  Still good art, though.

Sigh.  I really wish the artists would look at female athletes instead of underwear models for inspiration for FemShep's body.  Nice bra, though, I guess.
