I sometimes wish that I skipped the renegade choice with Saren at the end of ME1 because I wanted to slug it out with him, not persuade him to take the easy way out. I only picked renegade because I wasn't sure if I had enough points to get the red planet background ending and I was running out of opportunties. (It irritated me that my first two ME1 runs with my canon had her renegade meter higher than her paragon, but she kept getting the blue planet so on my final run, I was squeezing that juice a little harder this time.) My other regret was not stopping Toombs in time from shooting himself. I had shot the scientist on his behalf before, but this time I was letting him make the choice rather than take it out of his hands. I thought I'd still talk him out of it, but he turned the gun on himself. I decided to keep the consequences of that decision.

(Oh, and I did get the red background ending finally for ME1. )

Whoa, hold the phone, where in that did I tell you how to play your game? I didn't say "just wear the stupid dress" I said we can't compare our Military to the Alliance since most of what the Alliance does is unwritten as far as regulations on dress. There's no set dress code anymore where we all wear the same thing, we can customize how ever we choose, so No Kyrene, I'm Not telling oyu how to play your game just saying that our standards of military do not apply to the standards of the Alliance military.

Still that dress is nothing i'd have her wearing as standard... maybe there are some special occasions where it's suitable... giggity...

I like the hoodie, that's probably what my Shep will wear.  Either that or one of the first two. The dress is pretty silly, imo. It's not really what one would wear in that situation.

oh, and obviously, because I have yet to play through Penny's game ( I even replayed ME1 twice so she could be at level 60) My other four are new characters that I never really made. I made a Quinn once for ME2 before I had ME1, but without playing the first game she was not fleshed out at all. Now that I've played through ME1 and had her romance Kaidan, and I know her better, I was able to play ME2 with an idea of who she was.

but Penny...I have to see if I make any major changes when I play her game.

And hell yes, I want a leather jacket and jeans for FemShep...GIMME.

I love how that hoodie looks, and the upgraded scientist uniform. I see my main Shepard wearing the officers uniform, however. She's all Alliance.

Well... there is only one thing. If I knew before there is a way to save Kirrahe somehow, I would do that. I was very surprised to meet him in the demo.

Actually meant more like things that you'd re-do to be more in character. I paragoned Al Jilani all the way, but in writing my fanfic, Kyrie ends up flubbing her interview big-time. I would have liked to reflect that in ME1 playthrough - and stuff like that.

more like, realizing the character became a certain way and if you could go back, you'd pick different lines or decisions to reflect that.

but yeah, choices you might regret is a good point, too.

Nope....I don't like metagaming. I always stick to the decisions I made during my first playthrough on all my subsequent canon playthroughts, even though I know I'll regret some of them come ME3.

This...although I don't think i made any I'll really regret( I'll go over some of the big ones when I finally do my character bios)...

In your game, the military standards aren't the same, in mine they are. So you are prescribing to me (or at the very least, trying to convince me of) how to play my game, by saying how I should view military standards. I'm sure it wasn't your intention, so I'm gonna leave it there. Let's just say, I disagree with your opinions on the matter.

My Shepards (at least the more military "indoctrinated" ones) will wear military uniforms of some kind at all times. What yours do is of no consequence to me and I won't be convinced by your opinions, just as what mine do should be of no consequence to you either nor convince you of anything.

If I totally misunderstood you, I apologise and would welcome some rational discourse about it via PMs.

I think you're trying a little too hard to marry the Kyrie in game (more of a "reality" due to constraints) and the Kyrie in your fanfic (a more idialized view of Kyrie, yes?) I don't think the two can always meet, no matter how much you retro-meta game it from the start of ME1. And you probably shouldn't either, that way lies madness.

You did totally misunderstand me. Still NOT telling you what your Shepard's can and cannot wear or how you view their dressing. I'm stating the fact that we hav eno idea of the Alliances dress code because our Military is not their military. Our military is now as opposed to the Alliances ilitary being 174 Years in the future under a completely different government. You can see your Shepard's as strictly military but that doesn't mean that they've got to abide by 2012 United States (or your country's) Military Dress code regulations.

As much as I do like the idea of the jacket and jeans with that red tank top, I find myself not wanting the dress removed for the fact people do like the dress. People have femSheps that would totally go around in that tight thing.

There are other options available, thank god the hoodie is there for me cause I love that. And I love the default. If that dress was my only option I'd be raging over it, but I'll just not put it on my femShep.

I would like a jeans and t-shirt outfit added, but not have that dress removed.

You guys probably had this discussion before, but lets bring it up again! The thread is 200+ pages long after all 

Who is your favorite LI in the game this far? Why? And who will your first FemShep go for in ME3?

It's funny, I loved Kaidan in ME3, there wasn't really an option for females who don't wanna romance other "females" but I still loved him, the voice, the.. Ahh.. And when it became obvious that I wouldn't get any "action" in ME2 from Kaidan, I kinda fell for the drell, Thane Krios. This voice is also very nice. But the my last play-through, I had a male friends tell me that I have to go for Garrus! So I did. And jesus! I loved that romance, and he is sooo sweet underneath all that urian bravado

Tho Kaidan is still my main Sheps true love, and he will be the one I go for first. Mostly because I missed him the most, the other two were in the last game But I will go for Garrus 2nd to that because he also has a lot to give!

But Sbarge really did an amazing job on Kaidans voice. I love it!
