Makes sense. While playing as femshep that line 'im more interested in talking' can be seen as flirtatious or friendly depending on the player( i happen to think it's flirtatious) it's annoying but it doesn't deter me from seeking Jacob's  friendship.It's not his fault. i just go along with it.
While playing as maleshep you don't have to worry about it.

Didn't recruit Garrus in Mass Effect 1 got him killed as the distraction in Mass Effect 2 and Jacob in the vents for my femshep playthrough.

Jacob seemed really annoying to me so when he volunteered he got what he asked for, also the fact he switches sides so easily made her not like him.(Like how he went from Alliance to Cerberus) As for Garrus my femshep has a bit of hatred towards Turians, Batarians, Salarians, Hanar, and Vorcha not racist, she'll work with them or talk with them etc just most of them ****** of her off.  So why risk a friend being the distraction when some Turian who she didn't get or want to know since the first time around can play that role.

 "Changed sides so easily?" It wasn't easy. He HATED that the Alliance stopped doing things, he got sidelined after Eden prime and had to watch as the Alliance got a council seat and then did nothing with it. He had to save the council with Cerberus and Miranda before he joined up with them and he was head of security for Lazarus project. He wanted to do something meaningful and the Alliance wasn't providing and he was with Cerberus on a "you do good I stay" basis. That's not something you just do because you fell like it.

He was naive, he didn't wait, he didn't give a chance to the alliance, now he's annoying as hell.

Then your logic applies to Shepard as well. Shepard should have quit the second you meet with the council. You have proof yourself that 2 years later the Alliance and council are doing nothing and the one time they do it's really to spy on you. 

Also Naive is "We're the only ones doing anyhting about the colonies" and him going sign me up for LIFE! istead it's "as long as The Illusive man walks his talk, I'm on board" that's a wise decision.

The alliance is standing firm in their inaction in ME2 which is why we don't join back up with them. Jacob is in the same boat as shepard when it comes to allying with cerberus.

Unlike Jacob Shepard owe Cerberus and TIM. She didn't make a conscious decision to join them.  Her allegiance will always be to the council( for me at least) or the Alliance. When she died nobody came looking for her but Liara, no Kaidan, no Ash, no Alliance...there's enough blame to go arround here. Even with that i still choose to serve the Alliance and the Council.
Well in my case Miranda came looking for my Shep; that's why she's my LI; it was calculated but i'll take it.

What's with all of the N7 hoodies flying around? And the dress? How did folk get them? I'd love to do a quick demo runthrough in the hoodie, as it seems more in keeping with Shepard being supposedly away from active duty and keeping herself going. PM me details if it's not something to be discussed on an open forum.

The "inactive" Alliance beat Cerberus to every colony before Freedom's progress.  The only reason that Cerberus got anywhere was the dumb luck that the first time they were able to get there first, was the first time there were survivors.

That's why i said join. Shepard woke up already deep in it. She decided to stay an honor her debt by saving the colonists. There is a difference between taking the step to join and finding yourself in it; and morally bound on top of that.

I have to disagree with you on that, Shepard never quit with the council, she either had to suck it up and continue being a spectre or just send them to hell, they decided to quit on Shepard instead. He was Naive because he believed that Cerberus was doing something good for the humanity even though they did those outrageous experiements, just because he told them his terms to stick with them doesn't mean they will change. Who on earth would believe a corp organization as big and as rich as Cerberus is going to change their ways and  ethics because of a single person? that, my friend, is just being blind and deaf.

I just love Kaidan's expression XD Does this drawing is hinting something between three of them? 

I would be lying if I said, I wasn't hoping for a little love triangel action going on. I always let the triangle between Liara and Kaidan go to a point. Never until they both confront Shepard, just to the point that Kaidan is sweating bullets. I also love getting the jealous dialogue with Kaidan and the Consort, Sha'ira. And that was when Zody was in her right mind. I see her being confused, conflicted, and stressed in ME3, she might be making some mistakes. S'all I'm saying at this point.

Also, Ladies and Gentlemen, this is where I say adieu. It seems this forum has become to dangerous of those of us who wish to remain spoiler free. So I'm going dark until for about 8 days or until I beat ME3. So to everyone: My best wishes on your ME3 play throughs. May your Shepard find victory against the Reapers. May she have a great romance with *Insert love interest's name here.* And may those she cares for sees it safely to the end.

Has anyone that played the demo had any luck getting the one red hair color from ME2 that doesn't resemble Rainbow Brite or Ronald Mcdonald imported?

This one in particular (my Shepard, Vetta). When I try to find it in the CC it looks right, but is brown in game.

Welcome back Tim.

Thanks Saturn!   I've been careful to avoid the main part of the forums as much as possible, bar the preorder cancelling thing.  Oh, and the FemShep thread.  I decided to visit FemShep.com and saw Jamie's post about the 'casual day Shep', so that's cleared that one up! 

So, in honour of this, I created a brand new FemShep (though the face code's partially based on Cara - my canon Shep).  Here's Lynn, my Earthborn Sole Survivor Adept (loving the last hair colour option you can get in the CC):





I love this shot, with the flames and the lighting:



Who knows, she may survive beyond the demo, though she may undergo a few tweeks before then.
