anyone else having import issues? i just imported one of my renegade femsheps and the resurrection scars don't seem to carry over. has anyone else had this problem? thanks.

Because her features cannot be replicated they were supposed to put her in the cc as a preset; instead they kept ME 1 and 2 first preset( just like in the demo). When i imported it was just a tweaked version of that first preset made to" look like" former default that i got. I'm really pissed.

Oh, I read a bit too fast. Yeah... They ditched former Jane as far as I can tell.

I haven't been able to go futher than the cc. I don't know if i will. But i'm glad to see that all your canons are turning up pretty good.

:/ I hope you find acceptable workaround for that situation. Yeah, most seem to have face code so results are good so far. Mine is stucturally the same as before as far as I can tell. New things obviously makes some changes to all Sheps but nothing too dramatic. I used face code to create her in ME1 so this import fiasco was not that big issue. Still, I'd like to be able to use old colours.

Oh, you know what I like? During the cut scenes all the squad members are actually holding the weapons that you assigned for them! It doesn't default to semiautomatics or pistols like the way ME1 and ME2 did. This is great! Especially because you can have it so that 'shep doesn't carry all four weapons. You can have her just carry one weapon, if you want, which not only gives her a power recharge boost, but also makes her look more agile and natural.

I'm having a lot of fun with June carrying only a Mantis with Incinerate maxed out, Ashley with her Mantis with sniper rifle damage maxed out, and Liara with Singularity maxed to disrupt the heavily shielded enemies. We're a very precise infiltration team. And hot. Damned sexy.

One more thing, there seemed to be general agreement that in the demo we were seeing more emotive facial expressions from femshep and hoping to see more of that in the game. I'm well into the second mission with plenty of dialogue options that one would have expected to be more emotive but remained as stoic as previous games. This is not a bad thing, just a comment. I mean it would take a lot of work to put in all that finely detailed animation. I was actually reading an interview where the lead writer commented on L.A. Noire and said he would like to have emotive expressions that good, but it would have taken another year and half to make the game.

Ok... here is Allison in ME 3...with texmods from ELE( Devon Texture which I used in ME 2) and Ottemis( better makeup and mole on the lefthand side)...

I agree!!! I love how you go from combat to a conversation, and the camera just moves smoothly!!,

I absolutely love the hoodie! Shepard looks a bit stiff in the default outfit and I do not like the fancy commander outfit. On top of that Shepard looks kinda cute in hoodie. ^_^

1. Argh on the forums being blocked off right before the FemShep trailer came out. That was hard, not being able to squee in the moment. =p

2. While waiting all day for UPS to deliver my game, I spent my time playing with ME: Infiltrator on the iPad. Graphics are stunningly good and it feels just like ME instead of some imitation game. I do keep getting frustrated because I'm not used to playing with both hands on the iPad. I take so long trying to get into cover that I die often and have to restart the mission. What little progress I make on the iPad, I upload online for my War Assets readiness so we'll see how that works out.

3. The game is just beautiful and flows so well. I have not even installed flycam because I just want to play and see what happens next, but I can already see that there's a ton of moments where FemShep will really shine in screenshots.

4. Most surprising thing for me? After months of anticipating wearing the hoody in-game, I found that I actually loved the default armor from the demo the best. It just fits her overall personality so well and hits the serious-yet-casual balance that I like to strive for.

5. I'm looking forward to when everyone can start posting in here again. =D

I was inpatient and used proxy (few clicks, no additional software needed so I though why not). Can't say that I like this kind of artificial release date restrictions.

Well I'm not pleased, but also not really bothered cause I've got a lot of things to do still and if ME3 was available right now I'd have a hard time getting them done.
As it stands I'm still finishing Raine's play-through in ME2 as well.

Better get those face codes ready, though. Did someone (developer) actually say that it would use raw data? It was all bull ... . I did expect the worst and it happened so it wasn't a shock.

But... You never know if they will fix it. Testers were sleeping.

It was a logical conclusion, using raw data. That or an approximation of such. They could atleast use the color/scalar raw data. It was implied they did that over ME1 and 2, because that's the only way those could be conserved on import in ME2. But well, apparently my logic isn't theirs, or they just plainly mucked up the raw data imports and reverted back to something that would atleast work for some while they'd try and sort the issue out.

End of the day every game has bugs on release, this being one, cause I don't see how you could call this working as intended, as they don't either. Gotta give them a break and hope they are able to fix it and patch it.

For me it doesn't matter much, i've done so much in the Me1 and 2 CC that i'll have 0 issue getting my Sheps to import, I've already managed asmuch in the demo, so personally I'm not much affected.
All else can be 'fixed' with texmods and when gibbed finishes the ME3 editor, with that aswell, atleast for the PC.
So I am not forced to wait for a fix on said issues asmuch as console users are. In regards to console users all PS3 users should have facecodes cause ME1 was never ported to that platform, so the people that are basically most affected by this are XBOX users that have ME1 import sheps, but even they have an option to get their saves onto a PC via USB and extrapolate a facecode. While by retarded method, it's still 'possible'.

Btw, you're doing it wrong =P

Has anyone here ran into a problem with the Femshep/Liara save-game while importing to ME3? When I went to import, the list of things my character has done says at the bottom, that she romanced Liara in ME1, and romanced nobody in ME2. Does the Shadowbroker DLC with Liara not count? I"m a little confused, and the interactions so far don't mention the continued relationship at all.

Yep, I sure did...with her new hairstyle and texmods in play( as well as advice from Ottemis)... I decided she looks SOOOOOO much better with the light eyes...if we get gibb I will give her back her 'Underworld Vampire' blue eyes from ME 2. :D
