I'll hide this just in case (highlight to read):

My Shepard just talked to Aethyta but the dialogue didn't make sense to me... Especially when Kaidan is LI and alive. I reloaded save and skip that chat for now. Buggy?

Hi everyone. Been in the dungeon playing ME3, finally decided to get off my a** and register my game just now. So.........how do all my Femshep friends like the game so far?

I browsed a little bit and saw some are having trouble importing their characters? I take it this is the ones created in ME1 that have no facecode? If that's the case I hope it's fixed soon. I have a Femshep I'm pretty attached to that has no code.

Has anyone here ran into a problem with the Femshep/Liara save-game while importing to ME3? When I went to import, the list of things my character has done says at the bottom, that she romanced Liara in ME1, and romanced nobody in ME2. Does the Shadowbroker DLC with Liara not count? I"m a little confused, and the interactions so far don't mention the continued relationship at all.

It also says that I romanced nobody in ME2, but the interaction between shep and Liara looks appropriate. Look at my second post on the previous page. :)

I reckon it looks better to say nobody then saying 'didn't cheat' or 'did cheat with XY', maybe to do with restrictions in which flags are set. No clue. Would be interested to know what the import says if you told Liara to just remain friends at the end of LotSB though, seeing that content is optional, I wonder how they handled that.

Edit: Liara's the only romance you can continue in the end effectively (seeing Kai and Ash.. it's at a standstill, can't continue, can't break up vocally) Also the only one you can effectively end.
Logical would be that as with the Kai and Ash romance, it'll flag IF you romanced someone (new) in ME2 specificly (asin anything that'd grant you the paramour achievement). It won't flag anything if you haven't, in Liara's case it might flag if you break up with Liara. So in effect when it says nobody, the status is quo over ME1 and 2, same as with Ash and Kai.

I like the game (though S/S stuff is weird, I understand that even less now than before thanks to BioWare). I couldn't import my femShep's face. Not that big issue since I created her in ME1 basically using face code.

Finalized armour colouring. Still I like a bit more ME2 camos and colouring. Colour affect a bit too many areas in armour like N7 logo and other small things that didn't change in ME2. I kinda like that visor. But still probably end up using nothing.

You mean the goofy ass jog/walk   i just try and not think about it too much.

Really? I found the gait to be a massive improvement compared to ME2. Watching my lovely Femsheps walk like effing Rooster Cogburn from True Grit was borderline unwatchable.

I'm in your camp. I like the animations much better this time around.

And can I just rant again on how disappointed I am none of the lovely hairstyles shown in the concept FemSheps we voted on are in the game? How much more resources does it take to give us pretty spacey hair?

*grumble*

"two years and they still haven't fixed this damned visor. It's a wonder I can hit anything. Felt naked w/out it though. Nice to have you back you wonk eyed bastard."

A (sort of) spoiler free shot of UJ.

Four.

On animations. The running animations are just plain wrong, but oddly I do prefer them to ME2. The jog isn't too bad.  The walk is very nice.

Nope, makes four of us

EDIT: The Preordered ME3 CE from GameStop just activated, I took a quick look and was blown away, literally.
It's that unique giddy feeling I had playing the first game all over again

Now if only my lovely Femshep could remember how to holster her weapon before addressing someone out in the field.  :D

Heh, I think she looks kind of cute in the dialogue sequences with those shoulders seemingly pointed forward, tired and bemused. :)

My Jane looks like her old self after some colour-tweaks on import and a texmod, I am thoroughly pleased.

Most of the animations in general are vastly improved, IMO. I haven't decided what to think about Shepard's jog/walk yet, but I find it -- unusual. For that bouncy, limp-handed jog, I just imagine she's skipping like a little girl. It makes me laugh instead of wondering how they came up with it. (Once you picture it as skipping you won't be able to get it out of your head. No thanks necessary...)

To end on a more positive note: FWIW I'm extremely impressed overall. Yes, there are some irritations and "what were they thinking?" moments, but there's a certain polish and maturity to the game (not always, but generally) that is very nice to experience. Just the smooth, panning transitions in/out of cutscenes have really impressed me and occasionally sent chills down my spine when they were combined with dramatic spikes in the story.

The game is about the same length as ME1 and 2. 40ish hours. I've also only slept 7 hours in 48 hours. Yes, I'm that crazy. Have I ate? Hmmm can't remember. I probably should do that some time. Also I probably could have spent more time on it. Didn't have my War Assets high enough and didn't exactly getting the ending I was looking for. A warning to all of you, get your War Assets high, like 4000+. Mine was a little under 3000. So yeah... not happy.
