Vega: "Lola! Get dat ass back inside!"
Z. Shepard: "But I have rip Kai Lengs eyes out through his butt pucker!"

Grunt: "Battlemaster! I had a very good day today."
Z. Shepard: "Clearly."

Z. Shepard: "Hey Kaidan, what is black and blue and sexy all over? ...Too soon?"
Kaidan: "Too soon."

Z. Shepard: "Well.... ****."

Z. Shepard: "Can have sex now?"
Kaidan: "We're in the middle of the Presidium, having dinner."
Z. Shepard: "Can we have sex when we get back to the Normandy?"
Kaidan: "Siiiigh....Fine."
Z. Shepard: "Are you done eating yet?"
Kaidan: "I was wrong on Horizon, you haven't chanced."

This is weird. One of my FemSheps is getting snubbed by EVERYONE. This is Enid (Spacer/Vanguard/Paragade). Her LI was Kaidan in ME1 and she "remained faithful" in ME2 (in spite of some very strong temptations). The import seems to have been successful. But before I know it, Kaidan is telling her they're just friends, then Liara says nearly the same damn thing, and before I know it, out of the blue, Tali and Garrus have similar conversations. At this point, she's thinking seriously of sneeking Kei-9 up to her cabin.
Has anyone else run into this?
I mean, I know good friends are hard to find, but clearly at some point I picked the wrong branch of the decision tree!
In the meantime, I'm trying to make it through a battle with a certain incredibly arrogant Cerberus operative without turning down the difficulty. This may take a while...

I think I need a bit of distance before I play again, and even then I choose to headcanon the game ended at a certain point before the actual end. And considering a lot dislike toward the ending is coming from really loyal, often called "****" fans, I don't think BW can afford to ignore it.
EDIT: OH MY GOD HAHAH THE WORD **** GETS CENSORED?
B I O D R O N E. ****.

Something positive.

EDIT:
I'm a bit confused about the readiness thing. Is it possible to get the best ending, what ever it is, when the bar is almost maxed even if the readiness rating is 50%?

There are endings for 5000 points in effective military strength.

The bar was almost maxed out. I haven't played MP yet, though. EDIT: Well well... apparently it was almost perfect ending. But it still doesn't really change anything.f1r3storm wrote...

By the way, I just did small test. I put face code in ME2 save and the import worked. I do wonder what they are investigating. It's clear that they have basically no ME1 import logic.

***Spoiler-ish below***
I mean, at an earlier point in the game I had an idea of what would happen to Shepard even though I kept hoping that this suspicion was wrong. Yet still, I ended up teary eyed and I wonder what Bioware has in store. Eventually I'll get around to posting screen shots. Not sure if it's okay in this thread and when we can freely post spoilers.

I'm not too far into the game yet but I'm loving the subtle little ways femshep has been improved. Love being able to see more expressions on her face and like the way she doesnt just stand there like a brick anymore during conversations, like occasionally putting her hand on hip, brushing hair behind her ear, making guestures and such with her hands
Not to mention Jennifer Hale has outdone herself even more with her delivery of the dialogue.

My first playthrough Shepard - Taylor
Vanguard / Colonist / War hero / paragon / Loyal Liaramancer.
Unfortunately I had to reconstruct her appearance due to the import bug, but It looks enough like her int he face that I don't mind. Gave her a hair cut, from the "classy bob" (the one Tiia sports, I think thats the name) To the shorter style

Taylor: What do you mean you played the game until 5am?!

This game has been so rewarding to me already, and with so much to go, I sincerely doubt any ending could ****** me off that much. At best, I expect it to be mediocre, but my eyes have moistened up so many times already. The only game that ever made me cry, I think, was ICO, so this game is right up at the top.

Going through the game right now. Really fun, and my FemShep, Renee (Spacer/war hero/infiltrator/paragon) got a good laugh out of Jack's comment of her as being the "Queen of the Girl Scouts" at the Grissom Academy. It was a little close to home, since she is a chronic overachiever. All the little shout outs to the last two games are great fun.
Even better, if you read the book "Mass Effect: Ascension."
I love Jack in this game!
Also, one of those academy girls looks a bit like June. Maybe a clone experiment gone wrong. Or maybe the girl just has a hero. XD

Pics are fine
Animations and voice acting are definitely great. At least for me it seems that Shep has become more human with every game. (Nicely parallels my own personal character arc too
Did you try importing various different saves? Maybe I was lucky in that I did 6 different ME2 playthroughs with all the classes, and made essentially the same decisions in each one (for my main Shep). So I just kept trying different saves and eventually found one that imported.

So there I was, playing through the first game (since my desktop PC crashed and I lost all my saved games due to hard drive corruption, I've got some catching up to do), and I found myself wondering about a 'what if'.
Personally, I blame preemptively flipping through the ME3 art book, and seeing the concept art of huskified alien races (and huskified... favorite character of mine still upset about that rrrrgh).
I found myself pondering what a Reaper-corrupted Shepard might look like. And then my sketchin' fingers started twitching.
So here she is. It's just a rough pencil outline, as of now, but I really like the way that pose came out. I leave it up to you to decide whether she's gone boogedy and switched sides, or if she's a Bad Enough Dudette to just keep carrying on like she always has.
The implants will eventually be red, to match her Renegade scars. And yes, that's N7 armor interwoven with her cybernetics.
Oh, Vielle, what hast thou done to thyself?
Can you draw a banshee version of femshep?
