So, I knew it wasn't gonna work... but, I put Ashley's hair on Holly:

It bugs out so bad, but when it's actually laying in a normal fashion... WHY CAN I NOT HAZ!?

That's a default texture? As in the third complexion setting? I love those freckles and I wish more of them stood out on Devi's face. My biggest issue with custom characters is the lack of skin detail. It didn't seem like a big deal in the first game, that is not until the next two games increased the level of detail for important NPCs. I think this is why I found myself bothered at times when seeing Devi situated next to characters like Kai Leng or James.

Thank you =) I've got her ME2 facecode shared here, you'll just need to change the eyebrow color back to dark blonde/brownish in ME3 (unless you're going to tweak her anyways ofc). For ME3 I'm using a texmod for her.

I have to say, the most heartbreaking and powerful part of the end for me was that moment where Esperanza Shepard, my short-tempered, close range, ballistic paragade vanguard who's fully modded with all the skeletal and bone modifications I could find in 2... was struggling to take down 3 husks. And I'd JUST had her bouncing between brutes swinging fist and shotgun.

I had to pause and ... uh. You know. Clear my eyes from some dust.

As open ended and as open to interpretation as the ending is, I didn't hate it. I really liked TIM's Saren moment. Hale was spot-on. Watching Esperanza beat to hell and limping was brutal. I wound up going with control to stop the reapers without making everyone a machinething or breaking the geth, and watching my Shep go out like a boss was... well. Rough. I wouldn't have minded in the slightest if it cut out with her by Anderson, and I would have LOVED the cut dialogue to be included. But I don't mind the ending... Sure seems like it's encouraging us to figure out what happened with that.

Sorry if I'm rambling. I just finished and all I can say is that these three games have been one hell of a ride.

I finally summoned up the energy to play the game a second time through with Devi. My second import save had her romancing Thane in ME2. I was curious to see how this would play out, what with Shepard's relationship with Kaiden and Thane's sickness. Knowing that Thane will die (oh god, and Shepard too...) made it easier to let him go. Kaiden will always be first in Devi's heart though she still cherished her brief time spent with Thane (and truthfully I think his outlook was similar with Irika, his late wife). I was worried my Shepard would come across as sleazy after speaking with both of them in Huerta Hospital. Fortunately it was the exact opposite.

Thane handled the breakup surprisingly well. The setting couldn't be more perfect. Devi renews her commitment to Kaiden after seeing him near death which pushes her to come to terms with her true feelings for him.

God, now I'm really going to get teary eyed when Thane passes away later in the game.

I've got a new computer on the way, and I think that, when I get it, I'm going to make my own happy-ish ending to the game. There is enough footage in the games that I could possibly try my hand at video editing to put together some kind of montage along with something like this fan-edited ending:

(Uhh, BIG SPOILER ALERT, for anyone who hasn't actually finished the game)

I figure I'll do it with Artemis and try to edit in the full Shepard/Anderson conversation from a few pages ago. Sync up the matching parts with their lip movements as well as I can, while having scenes of the Reapers being destroyed during the voice over, as well as perhaps some memories or recycled scenes which might fit in. It'll be awhile before I can get it done, because I'll be experimenting and learning as I go.

Anyone else up for such an idea? Maybe it could make a good FemShep.com video contest (which I wouldn't win, because some of you are pretty darned near professional with your video editing skillz).

Jane and Kaidan... From what he said on Mars it's hard to understand it he still loves my Shep or not.

Thanks, I have more...that can post...and then some that I still to upload as I continue her first run through the game( I'm gonna play her again when I have unl;ocked all the bonus powers...since Kaidan has a couple and I need a game with him involved).
