Just a quick post to check in, since I've been Origin offline since Friday evening. So all my friends, I am alive. *hugs to everyone*

Well, it seems my avatar has been restored auto-magically. So no worries Tup!

Also, as a lot of you regulars know, my canon is indeed not a femShep *gasp* so I won't be posting pics for a while. Xavier Shepard is a blast to play though and I nearly 'gasmed when Jack punch-kissed him at Grissom. *swoon*

I've also been very rude  and skipped all the pages since my last post because I am a slow  player (I've just finished Sur-Kesh and I'm at 12 hours or so) and don't wanna be spoiled  for the good stuff. I've read the bad stuff, i.e. the endings in the leaked script when it came out, so I must be a weird fish.  I'm planning on playing the game twice even though I know what's gonna happen, and I still think the game is F*CKEN AMAZING!  And that's after restarting from a save after Mars yesterday because I spent all my creds on armours instead of upgrades.

I've also been hectically busy at work, and they also finally blocked this site  (so I can only post a/h or during lunch), so don't expect much chatter from me. If you wanna chat (or indeed respond to this), PM me so I'll catch in via email notification. I expect it's gonna be a while before I read or post here again.

In brief (and considering I don't even know what percentage of the game I've played), here are some of my thoughts:
Do I need a Happy Ending DLC? No.
Are Zaeed conversations working for me? Yes and no.
Am I happy with the ME2 cast treatment? If I don't see anymore of Jack in the game, what I did see was fantastic enough to do it for me. YMMV.
Am I happy with the VS treatment? I got to tell Ashley off for Horizon and still remain friends, so yeah.
Am I happy with the Mary Sues? Some.
Am I happy about Chobot? No, but she's on my ship anyway. I just whince every time she opens her mouth to read.
Does EDI freak me out? More than the old EDI, yeah.
Am I happy about recurring characters due to past decisions? Oh, yeah!
Am I unhappy about anything? Yes, the lack of middle right conversations and enemy variety.

So, femSheppers, carry on and know that I'll be back when I can.

Still feels bad... I don't have any urge to start another run (nor that motivated to finish Ashley VS run in ME2). Quite a different situation to ME2 which I just could stop playing. There are some rather nasty bugs which I hope they fix, I'll wait at least for patch before starting another run.

I think the Talon was made available at the beginning of the Citadel take over attempt by Cerberus, in one of those C - Sec offices you go through before the Chase.

As as side note, I find the credit song (Das Malefitz) extremely depressing.

... and I have the same pics from trying to do the same comparisons and matching in ME1 CC, but seeing them this way makes it much easier to see the differences. With the tinkering I've done, I believe the first custom preset is the same facial structure, but with jaw cheeks, lips and nose dimensions or shape changed around a bit. That is to say, the 1st preset is the closest match facial structure.

Do you have the same kind of comparison .gif for both left and right side views?

I do and the difference is pretty huge in my opinion. I totally understand why some are disappointed that the old Jane is not in the game anymore.

I was all set to punch Khalisah al-Jilani with Zody, who had never punched her before and I figured third time might be the charm. Then I realized Khalisah was just scared and expressing it the only way she knew how.

Yeah, I know. I also never punched her before in ME1 or ME2. This time I really wanted to do that. But something stoped me. And that's good On the "Normandy" I found out that she did what Shepard asked her to do

Tiia has been using AR in every play through. But I do love sniping... Sniper + AR combo probably isn't ideal for other than soldier (I did soldier run first).

I believe you talking about the arc pistol - really sleek look.
the Graal causes so much commotion that it woke the mother thresher maw and got her pissed. But i think Justicar's disciple is a little scarier. I'm with Raziel on the head gear; i use the same (kuwashi i think?) or the tactical hood?.
I let vega handle the revenant as well as the claymore; and let Liara have fun with the scorpion and the hornet; but Garrus gets the phaeston.



I'm wrong; the graal is far deadlier than the disciple.

God, you don't understand how happy I was that they brought the sentry visor back for free. It's become so weird now to see Rylie without it when she's all geared up and I thought before the ME3 demo I'd never see it again unless I go back to ME2. Then in the demo, found it on Surkesh and I cheered. Just couldn't put it on until the full game though.

Yeah, I like the disciple design better...but the graal is just too badass to pass up...especially as a Vanguard with inceration ammo( tier 4 currently - which ammounts to 18% damage bonus, 20% armor damage bonus)...and Carnage as a bonus power...though that ability can be used with all weapons now...as can marksman.
