I'm so exhausted, i've been stalking twitter and the " so we can't get a new ending after all?" thread. I know i'm being stupid but i just can't find peace in my sleep knowing that a game like ME series has ended this way, i have hope but very little. I don't want my heart crushed a second time.

I was thinking I could re-play ME2, I was curious about femShep x Kaidan x Jacob ME3 triangle, but I found myself just staring on the monitor, thinking about ...endings, and...well, you know. I think I have small crisis  right now. But... if you are stronger than me, or if you believe some fights are worth fighting ...

I'm reminded of the scene in ME2 where Miranda says that they all knew this was likely an one way trip. Renegade Shepard looks sideways and says, "I'll do whatever it takes to stop the Collectors, but I plan to live to tell about it." Joker says, "I'm glad you're in charge. What's next?"

Even if this is the final ending as-is, it's why I picked the destroy ending because it has the combination of destroying the reapers finally and being able to live. (EDI and geth are unfortunate collateral damage.) Dunno who she's gonna tell the story to, but dammit, they're not taking her down! =p

Two things. It is amazing how much of the content from the leaked script was in the game. There were a few missions that were cut that I really wished had been left in like one w/ Shepard, Emily Wong and Khalisah Al-Jilani conducting a propaganda war against Cerberus in the slums of the Citadel. Also, in the original script, synthesis is the perfect ending. It is, I suspect, the "Luke, I am your father" twist talked about way back when. 

Once Shepard reaches the top of the elevator (s)he begins a conversation with GUARDIAN where all the mysteries of the universe are revealed. Shepard must now make his/her final decision - to control the Reapers, to destroy the Reapers, or if they had a perfect game to become one with the Reapers

Yeah, I can see that, especially since sythesis isn't available for low EMS.

And thanks for pointing out the missing Cerberus script. In the beginning, when Allers asked what to focus on, I picked "focus on Cerberus" instead of "focus on the war" and wondered what became of that. Then I wondered if I was better off picking "focus on the war" for the war assets in the long haul.

I do regret not making Liara talk to her father though. She seemed to want Shepard to drop it so I did. I didn't realize that would be the last time she'd get that chance. She never expressed any regret about it though.

I got to agree with this. All the cryptic tweets, theory and speculations just annoys me right now. I just want some official word soon so i know if i should bother more with ME or not.

If they come with an ending DLC that's free i'm still going to be annoyed but i might at least consider BioWare games in the future. If they don't then BioWare and i will part ways. Either way it's been an unforgetable experience with Mass Effect and all i hope is that i will remember it with loads of good memories and not as i do now.

If you romanced Liara, it's great.  If you didn't romance Liara, (from, what I've heard) it assumes you did. In other words it's bugged.

I didn't notice it being bugged, but then I've not progressed through the game very far.
The talks seem neutral / friendshippy tbh, and from what Akari told me there are differences between what he got and what I got, he's romancing Liara. Then again I could be wrong? But I thought we noticed differences.

Finished my first playthrough this afternoon and wow the endings are big giant plotholes of epic proportions.
It's kinda sad to see such a great trilogy being destroyed in less than 10 minutes:crying:

I always get mad when people say that. It's like these people think everything is about some agenda. It's actually nice to see a female character that is held to the same standard as her male counterpart and is not given special treatment.

Oh my God, that face cracks me up.

I honestly love the default Fem-Shep. Too bad you can't alter the hair or eye color without changing the face, or I would have used it for my Paragon Shep.

I don't think synthesis is the perfect ending. It kinda says "perfect game", which i'd see as the maximum number of 5000 EMS that counts for endings. But for synthesis you only need 2800 EMS though.

Re: Guns -- I will say Grunt ROCKETED up in my estimation when I saw he kept my claymore. I missed that thing.... Then I upgraded it. And put a giant spike on it. Vanguards are amazing.

Is there a way to mod in other casual outfits? I'm kind of missing the scientist outfit from ME2.
