Oh, I agree, but if it's just on youtube, it will seem that the accusations were right.

If it's used in more official promotions, the accusations will lose some of their weight.  Not all, certainly, there'll still be those who argue against it, but I feel it'd "legitimize" femShep.  (Even though she shouldn't need legitimizing...)

That's essentially what I was getting at. It might feel kind of like a pat on the head as opposed to seeing it on tv or having someone take it to IGN, Gamespot or G4.

once again I made her cheekbones stand out a tad too much. It's noticeable while I'm playing the game. I couldn't tell too well in the CC until she was made and into the first game, but I like the way she looks far better this time then the last version of her I made.

I'm happy enough with the way she looks that hopefully she'll transfer well enough into ME3. the only mod I use for her is the high def one, so she shouldn't look too different.

Femshep has already gotten mountains more exposure to the media than we have ever dreamed possible. This is just the few I remember. I couldn't be arsed to find what page in the old thread we posted all the articles that came out last July - August.

The question that was asked was how you would feel if the FemShep trailer was only released on Bioware's YouTube channel.  I merely said that it would be good, but I'd like it to show up on the gaming websites and such.  I'm not sure how you took what was said and interpreted it to mean that I (or whoever you were speaking to) wanted something more. 



edit:  @f1r3storm  I hope you're right.  I'd love to see that, tbh.

Ah.... I think femshep's renegade side is rubbing off on me. or maybe it's hitting and then passing 30. but these days, when i learn something i like and think is cool pisses someone else off, i just chuckle.

Also @ red: similar story. went into a gamestop to ask about the ME3 preorder bonuses. clerks were somewhat busy, but no one looked my way. might have been because I was carrying a 6 mo. old baby with me.

Always thought that the high cost of a trailer guarantees a large exposure for a decent return in investment; but the more i think about it the more i'm inclined to argue that it's the other way around.

The FemShep trailer better not be just a youtube footnote, I expect to see it featured on the official site like any other high profile pre release video. Do not try to tell us they've wasted the voting community thing not to do something significant with it. I just don't believe it.

 @esh: Oh no. I rarely try to convince anyone of anything anymore, especially on the intarwebs.  Just observing that a lot more gaming type establishments would have my money if they ever bothered to notice that I was a prospective customer.

On another note, did anyone notice that there was no Adept in the multiplayer trailer? I am wondering if this is because there is none? (I can see how singularity would be a massively unbalanced skill, potentially) or if this is just 'cause they didn't feature it?



I would miss that class, personally. Not sure what I'd play in its place.

Cate Blanchett always comes off as too fragile for a role like this. SHe's never presented a commanding presence in a leadership role. The woman quite literally looks like she's made of porcelain.



Delicate isn't a word you can associate with Shepard.

Lena Headley could do it but it really depends on how we want shepard to look. She has the badass look but female shepard is also 29 in ME1. Lena doesn't look like she is even in her early 30s. Still pretty hot but I wouldn't pick her for shepard.

Although I could easily accept a Gina Carano.

Played all of them - except the(PSP), like them( very orginal approach); very peculiar dialogue though. Jennifer Hale voice acting: perfection as usual.
