Does anyone have any screen caps of what the original default ME1 FemShep looks like in ME3? Not the new ME3 default. Thanks in advance!

She's not available in ME3.

... thanks, but I'd like clarification: I know she's not "available" in ME3 because they made a new default FemShep.  Are you saying ME1 Default FemShep can't be imported into 3 because of the import bug? I was under the impression that default faces passed the check and could be imported, but if all Sheps in ME1 can't, that's really bad...

As far as I know no. Her face is custom one and it is more than likely at the moment that they didn't even include it in ME3 (thus always resetting the face).

By the way, who else is halting their plans to play ME3 before they release patch to fix the biggest issues? I couldn't complete at least two missions thanks to bugs.

I've encountered one bugged mission sofar, but also a way around it. (Kasumi one)
Not planning on halting, no.

I don't have bad feelings about this. I have feelings. Confused ones.

I haven't encountered any significant bugs on my playthrough, well except the import bug:pinched:, so I'm not stopping because of that

question: is it just me or does the beam/light/whatever of the synthesis choice look exactly like the beam that brings you to the citadel?

I'm at least going to finish my ME2 run. Almost done all side quest and every squad mate is loyal.

This today, rest tomorrow probably. Then I have to decide whether or not I start ME3 run again. If they would fix the import issue (which probably works as intended, I'm 100% there never was any logic in place) I wouldn't have to change the colours via Gibbed. Eyes especially were wrong colour.

so far as i can tell, the import 'bug' is that the game goes off of your facecode ONLY for import. i made a new game in me2 and , using a facecode, recreated kyrie. then i dropped that headmorph file (the code-created file) onto a non-code created file. thus, i had a code-created face on a game with no facecode. on import, i got the same error as before. i then simply gibbed hacked in a facecode onto my me1 import save. start up me3, and viola! there's kyrie.

crazy thing is, the me2 file had a me3 code on it - as in, i was using the new blonde (#8 - and no 8 exists for haircolor in the old me2 and me1 games). and it gave me a blonde shep.

not sure if that's making sense.  point is this: you can take an me1 save through me2, and all you have to do to get the face to import in place a facecode on the save. if you build the face in the me2 game, it has that code. if you did not, you can dump one on top of the save and me3 will read that upon import.

seriously...i'm not sure if i'm making sense there.:?

I'm want to run my canon again into ME and ME 2 and try to make her as perfect as possible. Like you, if importing issues are fixed, make a ME 3 run. Hopefully by that time the ending problems will be fixed too.

Yeah, I tested it too. Copy pasted face code into ME2 save and bam, hellou Tiia. I bet that they don't even have any other import logic there other than checking for face code string. If that doesn't exist they throw pop up and you have to start from scratch.

That's something I would to if there's no time or no intention to get it done right.

Problem for me is that I don't have the facecodes of my ME1 saves and I'm too lazy to recreate them:D
But thanks for explaining it... I think I'll try to recreate them when I've finished my current playthrough

@Sage,
I felt the same way about the 'choices' (if you can call it that) none of them would sit right with me. They all end the same way, bleak. Horribly, horribly bleak. Even if you get the Breathe ending with Destroy. I was thinking about it this morning. Without the Relays there is no good way to traverse the stars.

I humbly disagree, if you pick blue there are some nice things to come out the ending ;)

Okay, not able to stay away from endgame theories. Just gonna leave this video here.

IT's WAY too long in sections, but the things that are interesting to me are 1 - No one but Shepard ever saw that kid. 2 - around 10 minutes, it notes the voice channels for the StarChild are a combo of maleshep and femshep (hard to hear - not sure i'm buying that) and 3 - (this video doesn't note this, but you can see it) Synthesis and Control both turn Shepard's eyes into glowing TIM/Saren eyes just as shep disintegrates.

^male shep in that vid. makes me realize how much i prefer hale's delivery at the end.

In other news, if I feel up to it, I think I may try and set up flycam. Otherwise, I'm going to...dunno. Hit refresh on twitter waiting for better news?

I just saw that video, sage. Indoctrination theory is bogus.

Reflect on the child as Harbringer for a second. Doesn't it seem a little bit comical? Don't you kind of want to laugh just a little bit? The dark colossus Harbringer is possessing Commander Shepard as... a scared little kid! Literally, whining, crying kid. "Waaah you can't help me!" lol And this more acceptable than the kid just being a kid, whose frightened and alone, and dies, affecting Shepard emotionally because after all she's human?

Also, I'm going to take a stand and say I don't think the color of someone's eyes determines who's behind the wheel.

But the most damning thing of all... That video completely ignores the most explicit evidence against indoctrination theory, which is the scene after the credits with Buzz Aldrin the stargazer and a child who asks him, "did that all really happen?" to which the stargazer answers, "yes." He didn't say, oh no except for that whole part at the end which was really just an extended metaphor, lol. No! The question was asked directly, "did that ALL really happen?" and the answer was "yes," followed by "some of the details have been lost in time." I don't think extended metaphor counts.

Pfff, as if there ever will be better news, they got our money, why would they change anything now.

Yes, I know i'm bitter about this, and no, i'm not going to change my attitude towards this subject.
They have carpet-bombed their most successful IP deliberately and so completely, that remedy is, from where i'm sitting, impossible.

BioWare just signed off on their own demise, period

Except for that part about the extended metaphor where Anderson was really a symbol for Shepard's paragon leanings and, and... oh hell, seriously?

Look at this face. Does she look like she's dreaming? No. She looks raw, awake, and in pain.

And awe-inspiring and beautiful. No one can convince me that's a dream.

You still want to wave BioWare's flag ? good, get yourself to Canada and do it there.

Fixed that for ya =)

Let's not make this a hostile place.  I may not agree, but a one-sided discussion is hardly a discussion.

Yeah, let's not make the FemShep thread hostile. This is one of the few sane places left on the BSN. And if that vid offends, I'm sorry. Was just my, 'huh, that's interesting. Wish it were true' take on things. I guess I'm just clinging to the denial/hope that Crucible is a weird name for a weapon and there's probably a reason for that. and I trust Shepard more than I trust badly-voiced grandpa man. My bias, I know.

Alright. I think I'll go away for a while now.

But it may not be. However, I trust Shepard more than I trust badly-voiced grandpa man. My bias, anyhow.

Alright. I think I'll go away for a while now and see if there are any other rocking female heroes I adore as much as femshep that get a better ending to their story. :|

I was not offended by your post or the video linked within it, i'm offended by BioWare.

Is Shepard indoctrinated? Yes.

Did all that really happen? Yes.

Is the ending of ME3 a metaphor? Yes.

Does it matter which color Shepard picks? Yes ... and no.

This is what I'm going to take out of it. What did BW really want to accomplish w/ this? Don't care.
