I gotta say, as a soldier, I freaking love the Scorpion heavy pistol because it shoots those little blue balls that attach to the target and detonates (the same gun that Kirrahe uses and Garrus says "how come I don't have one of those?"). It blows up all those eggs in clusters and the constant shooting means I don't have to rely on my limited abilities or wait for the cooldowns. That gun is a time-saver. Also good for taking down husks in clusters, too, if I'm low on grenades.

Edit: Top. I learned everything I needed to know from Walking Dead.

Okay, I guess being bummed about Drea looking like crap in ME3 motivated me to dig into Gibbed editor.

Posted Image
*squint* Yeah.  I can work with this. :wizard:
She looks a bit older...more weary perhaps.  Works for me.

Hey everyone. I just came across a video someone else posted with cut dialogue from the final scene between Anderson and femshep. Thought it was really beautiful and wonderfully acted so I'm just leaving the link here. I can't understand why on earth it was cut for the final game. Another screw up with the ending I guess <_<

@Flies_by_Handles - The Grunt/Rachni choice was tough for UJ too. She saved the Queen, even though it was a risk, because she knew they were capable of doing. The simple fact was, if everything went right, the rachni were more valuable than one Krogan team. She was certainly glad to see Grunt make it. UJ has always been willing to take risks, but ME3 made her a colder person, even withdrawn.

Anyway, most of the game for me was highs and lows, but there were a couple of times that I just had to stop playing for seeing everything she had to endure.

I believe I heard it was Hudson call to cut it, something about it being to long. I think its just beautiful and a perfect led up to the "I'm proud of you. You did good child, you did good" line. Tears and snot, tears and snot.

I hate to say it, but I called it. Bioware just looooooves killing father/mentor figures.

Personally, i get the cut.  For my Anelle, it would have been perfect. But not every Shepard wants to settle down.  It would have been out of character for them to talk like they wanted it, though I suppose you could imagine it as being hurt that badly, he/she is just at the end of the rope.

It is a pretty wonderful scene though - I'm glad some record of it exists.

Thought I had one of Shepard and Anderson uploaded, but since I don't, we're proud of you too, sir.  We'll miss you.

I guess part of my problem with the listed endings is... they're all too easy. I was expecting it to take decades to conclude the Reaper war, though that was based on Vigil saying it took a couple centuries for the Reapers to wipe out the Protheans.  My "ending" would have been Shepard's actions resulting in some sort of strategic advantage that gave the galaxy a chance to finally stop the Reapers and break the cycle, but there would still be a fight ahead and Shepard (if she survived) might still be involved somewhat.

Actually, one of the ideas I had for possible results was, the cycle was broken, but the Reapers were still running around in far fewer numbers and maybe they'd be hunted down in a few centuries or so. The galaxy is a big place.

Random thoughts. Still trying to get some motivation to continue the ME2 runs, though with the expected groin punch at the end of ME3 my motivation to "enjoy the journey" is waning.

That's true all right, I have some Shepards that the settling down line wouldn't be relevant to. However it would have been great if they maybe put in the conversation wheel in the scene where a response could be picked for such dialogue. I'm not sure that would work either though. It's really nice to hear such great voice acting anyway regardless of it making it into the final game.

Does anyone have any screen caps of what the original default ME1 FemShep looks like in ME3? Not the new ME3 default. Thanks in advance!

Not as such, though I ran with that default face (with different hair, changed the eye colour) for all three games. In Mass Effect 3, it turned out like this:

http://cloud.steampo...16F93996CDBF66/

Not exactly what you asked for, I know. The facial structure was left untouched, though.

Ahh I see! She looks good. Thank you so much for this. :wizard: I just wanted an idea before I started my new FemShep in ME1, and I plan on using the default face, just because I never ever did. It might not import to 3, but hopefully by the time I finish 2, the import bug will be fixed.

It feels really good to help turn his life around despite the hell that Shepard puts him through by dying.  She helps turn his life into something he can look back on with pride from his days in brain camp to where he is now.  That was just really satisfying to me.

given the content we've seen? Kaidan, Liara, or Garrus. <-- that's basically it if you want your love to remain with you long term

It was Jacob pre-ME3 but now it's Samantha Traynor. She's thoughtful, witty, caring, adorable, incredibly useful as a comm specialist, and her pre-final fight conversation had me wanting to hug her so tight after it was over.Posted Image

The only romance I never had time to do on FemShep was Liara, but I adore looking at other people's screenshots. She's a real affectionate asari and I love the glowy stuff. I was blown away by the mind trip she gave right at the end and that was just on a platonic level.

I agree with sage if you're going for romances that span all three games (for example, if you want screenshots of the "journey"). Otherwise just go with what "clicks" for your Shepard. My favorite ME2 romance was Jacob and well, that has no chance of continuing in ME3. =p (He was still a damn good romance though!)

My thought exactly. before i was aware of the 'ending' i figured the end of ME 3 would mark the beginning of the process of elimination of the reapers; possible future dlc would involve Shepard chasing the remnant of the reapers and getting to the bottom of their origin as well as cerberus and TIM genesis.

That was my exact same reaction. I mean, come on, all that flirting and nothing? What a tease lol.

...But I suppose that's also a good thing. I would've felt so bad if something came out of all that flirting, with Jennelyn romancing Kaidan and all. >__> I can definitely see Vega clicking with my some of my other Sheps though. Too bad.

Vega.  I ended up liking him a lot more than I expected.  Despite his ridiculous buff-ness.

I like that the flirting never goes anywhere.  They have a great dynamic.  I think he'd be a good LI, but not in the timeline of ME3.  Don't ask me to explain.  I have the sudden urge to headcanon femShep survives ME3 and spends the rest of her life on earth.  Reapers defeated, relays intact, but the infrastructure of the galaxy is practically rubble. Everyone must rebuild.  Then I could see them getting involved, maybe over the course of months or years.  *Pictures femShep and Vega sitting on lawn chairs on a roof somewhere shooting the **** and trying to figure out civilian life on post-Reaper earth*  Yeah, I like fluff.  What of it?!

...

On a completely separate topic.  I groused enough about it, but I put all my Sheps into ME3.  Gibbed editor is a lifesaver.

Let's compare shall we:
